Orchid better be on the list.

whiteminority 06-29-2005 01:32 PM

**** right.

RetiredAt21 06-29-2005 01:32 PM

I don't think I could even come up with a list of ten screamo bands, really the only ones I listen to are Orchid, Circle Takes the Square, and Pg. 99.

whiteminority 06-29-2005 01:34 PM

Love Like... Electrocution is good.

RetiredAt21 06-29-2005 01:37 PM

I'll check them out, I've heard alot about them, most of it good.

Wow 06-29-2005 02:34 PM

Ask Dfelon. I did my part, unless he wants me to add more/go into more detail.
Love Like... Electrocution is good.
Quoted for absolute truth. Hot Cross is among my favorites in the genre, too.

How many bands did you put together?

I think everyone should compile a list of about 10 emo and 10 screamo bands and they should be compiled and voted on which bands go on the list.
Maybe that's not a bad idea...

Wow 06-30-2005 12:53 PM
How many bands did you put together?
I dunno. I probably did about 50. Dfelon still has stuff to add I think.

RetiredAt21 06-30-2005 01:03 PM

I kind of like Ben's idea.

Wow 06-30-2005 01:15 PM

Talk to Dfelon.

whiteminority 06-30-2005 03:51 PM
I kind of like Ben's idea.
thanks man. i do kick ***.

RetiredAt21 06-30-2005 05:06 PM

Has anyone talked to Dfelon about this?

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 07:19 PM

Your competing too? I'm still working on mine

RetiredAt21 06-30-2005 07:36 PM

I will make a shirt, even though I'm not really a fan of the Mars Volta.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 07:38 PM

Oh I like the Mars Volta a lot.

RetiredAt21 06-30-2005 07:40 PM

I like the two guitar players, they are really good.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 07:45 PM

Omar is really good.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 07:46 PM

Dfelon get your old icon back please, I really liked it...

RetiredAt21 06-30-2005 07:46 PM

Yeah, that's what I meant.

EDIT: to Dfelon

whiteminority 06-30-2005 07:57 PM

The Mars Volta any good? I have not heard anything by them.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 08:00 PM

They are great!

whiteminority 06-30-2005 08:03 PM

reccomendations?

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 08:19 PM

Cygnus.......

RetiredAt21 06-30-2005 08:21 PM

They are too mellow for me.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 08:23 PM

Oh sorry Professor Choas........

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 08:24 PM

I'm just joking, I love you.....

whiteminority 06-30-2005 08:24 PM

I have a friend who keeps telling me to listen to them next time I do hallucinogenics. Are they that weird? I hope they are not to melodic because I like chaos.

whiteminority 06-30-2005 08:26 PM
Oh sorry Professor Choas........
Some of us prefer screams and chaos to melody.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 08:27 PM

They aren't melodic. They're expiremental, or as I like to say Xperimental. They're really a super expiremental Post-Hardcore band

whiteminority 06-30-2005 08:30 PM

Did Dfelon ever take notice of my idea about the 10 screamo and 10 emo band lists that are compiled and then voted on?

pixiesfanyo 06-30-2005 08:31 PM
They aren't melodic. They're expiremental, or as I like to say Xperimental. They're really a super expiremental Post-Hardcore band
You are stupid.

TMV is melodic at times, Frances the Mute has alot more melody incomparsion to Deloused in The Comatorium. But they are both pretty standard in terms of bits just going crazy.

Also, if you are planning on tripping I wouldn't recommend TMV it would probably end up as a bad one. Maybe try something like Jaga Jazzist if you want something that is pretty similar to TMV but more on the brighter side.

Thanks man, I don't want any scary experiences, I remember when someone told me to trip to Aenemia by Tool... f'ucked up sh'it man.

whiteminority 06-30-2005 08:42 PM
Yes but I disregarded it because I don't about anybody's opinion other than my own.

TMV is good for trippin by the way.
Well you added the top 25 metalcore albums poll to the reccomendations thread... So what's the difference on emo and screamo bands?

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 06-30-2005 08:49 PM

At the end of the year we should have a Top Albums of the Year poll. We shall see who the victor is.......

Wow 06-30-2005 08:50 PM

Bob Tilton should get back together so they could win that contest.

whiteminority 06-30-2005 08:53 PM
We've already had a top emo/post-hardcore thread. I just haven't put them up yet because this legit list isn't done yet.
Oh cool. I still like my idea though.

whiteminority 07-01-2005 09:40 AM

Can anyone reccomend some Usurp Synapse ep's or something because my download program isn't finding anything by them.

RetiredAt21 07-01-2005 10:21 AM

The only Usurp Synapse song I know is Both Guns Blazing, and it's pretty good, I like it alot.
