Hey I'm looking to start getting into My Morning Jacket. Which album would you guys consider their best, or best to start off with?
Ah, that's at the Boardwalk, right? Have fun. :thumb:
Yep.
Thanks for stealing my idea for a future avatar.
I'm quick like that. (BJM reference)

Anxious 10-10-2005 06:15 PM

I'm not good with acronyms.

Electrocution 10-10-2005 06:18 PM

Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Do people dislike long hair on waiters?

Little Man being Erased 10-10-2005 06:21 PM

Hell yeah. Dirty hippies.

People don't tip as well if you they find stray hairs in their pasta primavera.

Electrocution 10-10-2005 06:24 PM

It's not hippie length, just longer than normal...Although growing one's hair out has become cool nowadays. :-/

Little Man being Erased 10-10-2005 06:26 PM
That's what I was looking for. :p

But seriously, just wear a hairnet. Those things are cool anyway.

Anxious 10-10-2005 06:31 PM

Would a showercap suffice?

The NPC 10-10-2005 06:32 PM

Hippies shmippies.

Zappa 10-10-2005 06:32 PM

I think a waiter with a hairnet is even more unsettling than a long-haired one. Yeesh.

How about in a bio hazard suit?

Zappa 10-10-2005 06:35 PM

Well, that's a fetish of mine...

The NPC 10-10-2005 06:39 PM

It figures.

That's happened to me before :(

Didn't tip well?

It Still Moves, by all means. They're fantastic.

Anxious 10-10-2005 07:46 PM

I want to get Z for the sole reason of the awesome album art.

asymm 10-10-2005 07:49 PM

My copy of Z should arrive tomorrow... I've heard generally positive things and I'm looking forward to it.

ZEROthirtythree 10-10-2005 07:54 PM
Didn't tip well?
No one ever tips enough.

YDload 10-10-2005 08:19 PM

I'm not really picky about hairs in my food, as long as it's just a family meal. We have hairy dogs and cats :(

Electrocution 10-10-2005 08:21 PM

I'm picky. I cut all the fat and anything that looks somewhat compromising off my meat before I'll even think about eating it. I should live in nigeria or something.

Zappa 10-10-2005 08:22 PM

Yeah, same here, Yd. It is a little unsettling at a restaurant, though.

Hair doesn't have germs or nothing, but it is icky.

Anxious 10-10-2005 08:24 PM

My dad used to work in a restaurant, and because of that he said hed never want to eat at one ever again, because he saw the stuff that happens in the kitchen. So I havent been out to eat in years.

Zappa 10-10-2005 08:27 PM

biografiend 10-10-2005 09:26 PM

I am really bad about eating out. I don't usually eat at buffets, or family dinners or anything unless I know who cooks everything. I found a hair in some noodles once at thanksgiving and I threw up.

Anxious 10-10-2005 09:53 PM

In the noodles?
It's Thelonious Monk's birthday.
My friend informed me last year that I share a birthday with him. She didn't know who he was, but I did and it made me feel special.
