My carpal tunnel came back. I'm in pain.
My carpal tunnel came back. I'm in pain.
:upset:
I'm sorry to hear that. |
So I decided to check out Caliban and As I Lay Dying today, and I have to say, yes I have heard them, but I never took them seriously, and after giving them a chance, I still can't take them seriously... I mean, As I Lay Dying has potential, but they're so bland... and then Caliban is great musically, but listening to their singer makes my voice feel strained. It really astounds me that kids like those bands so much out of the whole scene they're in... like they act like they're the best thing in it, but then they sound like watered down versions of Killswitch [yes, I am a fanboy, but they're not the best thing ever, I know].
|
As I Lay Dying could be good if they bothered to shoot their vocalist and get somebody with originality and write their own music instead of ripping off every other American metal band around today.
Never heard of the other. |
I listened to Thievery Corporation for the first time today.
Wahah, I liked it lots. :-D Oh, and I heard the new Tool single. It's also great. |

I like Thievery Corporation.
One of the strippers danced to Tool. It was one of the defining moments of my life. And it wasn't even Schism. It was Pu****. Great times. And I only spent 8 dollars for a good 4 hours. I shall be back. |

Never heard of the other.
The problem with AILD is that, Each album has a couple great songs. The rest is just the same song over and over. The need to vary their sound among songs and take their time. I like their vocalist though. |

'sup guys. it's 9.30am and i've been awake for 2 and a half hours already. i have a bad back, and i'm ridiculously tired, but i should have a good day, seeing as i'm off to my gfs in an hour or so :)

Just say Metal, I guess.
|

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on much, but I've been busy...and drunk, let's be honest...quite fabulously last night.
My mate Joe prevented me from doing anything embarassing, apart from talk to some guy about how awesome Ted Nugent is, despite the quite bizzare fact that I neither know or care who Ted Nugent is. /eats Easter egg. Good times. NP-Hammerfall-Warriors of faith. |
Well I had an awfull night. I couldn't sleep until about 3am because I'm allergic to something, but I have no idea what it is :( So my skin gets these bumps that itch like mad. They're gone down copmpletely now, so perhaps whatever causes them is not in my room; I'm wondering if I should go downstairs or not :/
apart from talk to some guy about how awesome Ted Nugent is, despite the quite bizzare fact that I neither know or care who Ted Nugent is.
I did that once. I don't think it was about Ted Nugent though. |
Yeah, just for the record...who is he?
I was singing his praises despite the fact I have never heard his music. NP-Autopsy-Slaughterday |
Uhh he's a solo artist. He had his own sown on MTV. He's meant to be some crazay guitar playing guy.
He did the song Cat Scratch Fever. I don't like him. |
My carpal tunnel came back. I'm in pain.
:upset:
what's this? |
Compression of the median nerve at the wrist. It causes numbness in the hand, thumb, and fingers.
NP: Dungeon - Paradise |

My mate Joe prevented me from doing anything embarassing
That's what friends are for <_< Anyway kids, specifically American kids, I could do with some help. I'm going to New York...tomorrow for a few days and I want to do some major CD shopping but know nothing of the shops. So if someone could tell me which ones have good prices and/or selections it would be much appreciated :) |
what's this?
It's when the Median nerve (that runs from the hand to the forearm) gets trapped or pressed or something at the wrist. It kinda makes it painful to move your hand and thumb because that nerve controls all of them. Although your pinky remains unaffected. |

NP: Dungeon - Paradise
Isn't that what David Mustaine got, preventing him from playing the guit-box? :smoke: |

ouch! :upset: And all this just from playing guitar? |
No Dave got something else. I forget what it was called, but it was in is arm, not his wrist.
|
Isn't that what David Mustaine got, preventing him from playing the guit-box?
:smoke:
No I think he trapped a nerve in the upper arm? |
Oh, Either way he still does it now, that's all that matters.
Any chance of that ol' nerve delee coming back to him? :smoke: |
I think it's all chance really. He did it in his sleep so I guess it's possible.
|
A world without Megadave's guitar skills would suck.
|
A world without Megadave's guitar skills would suck.
that's true. Megadave's a bit of a monster with the old wire frame. :smoke: |
What pissed me off is Kerrang got his birthday wrong. According to them he was born in 1951.
|
Hahah, that would make him 55
|
Exactly.
They manage to get Al of Metallic's birthdays right, all of My Chemical Romance and Greenday but can't get Dave Mustaine's right. Tards. |
It just shows you how damn queer Kerrang is.
|
yeah, kerrang is teh suck.
|
Well, whatever I'm allergic to, I think it's downstairs. I just had lunch (downstairs) and now my hands have these red dots all over them again. They're even on the palm of my hand, and they make my hands really swollen :upset:
