Isn't there an internet curfew in the shire?

hismajestythepope 01-15-2009 11:40 PM

Pretty sure he lives in Harlindon.

C.O.A. 01-15-2009 11:42 PM
you should check out Trivium bro, they're tight
I pretty much ignore you for the most part, but I just felt like letting you know that you are a bitch.

anyways, i checked out Capharnaum and i thought they were pretty dope.

adb 01-15-2009 11:49 PM

Dear Diary:

Today someone on the internet called me a bitch

I thought it was a pretty easy joke to make about Matt Heafy

I mean its p funny how his vocals are somehow awesome in Capharnaum

Oh, well. At least Kevin said hi to me in class, he's super cute hehe

jrowa001 01-15-2009 11:55 PM

yeah Capharnaum do rule. probably the best Heafy as ever sounded vocally, but mainly cuz his screams mesh better with Capharnaum.

hismajestythepope 01-15-2009 11:58 PM

Because he doesn't do clean singing in Capharnaum, his screaming on Ascendency isn't necessarily bad, it just doesn't really fit imo. On the first Trivium album though,.

This. Then again this is ADB we're talking about:

and wasn't jordan only like 9 when they recorded rof?
that's pretty impressive, i doubt their other albums would be my cup of tea though

Tyler 01-16-2009 12:09 AM

i donno, fractured is solid. has a real "florida" sound to it but its nice and thrashy too

AA-12 01-16-2009 01:31 AM
Isn't there an internet curfew in the shire?
uh, nice to see you guys still know nothing about lore. clearly, the shire is a land EXCLUSIVELY for hobbits, not elves. elves belong in Arda.

ugh ugh ugh ugh

hismajestythepope 01-16-2009 01:36 AM

ELVES CAME FROM SOMEWHERE AROUND LAKE RHUN.

ugh.

regardless, ADB was clearly chilling at the mouth of the Sirrion when everyone was up in Morgoth's grill. pussy.

rasputin 01-16-2009 01:47 AM

so much win in this thread

VomitStainedCretin 01-16-2009 11:50 AM
the shire is a land EXCLUSIVELY for hobbits, not elves.
Only since 2376 TA when the Proudfoot Uprising expelled all the racially impure and usurous inhabitants of the Shire, in response to rumours of dwarves poisoning the well at Michel Delving.

Currently checking out Anata's Under A Stone With No Inscription, pretty solid so far.

pretty sure that's mirkwood

Nostalgia 01-16-2009 06:42 PM

Dark Recollections seriously has the most headbangable material ever on it. With the amazing drumming and maniacal as **** tone, I'm inclined to say it's up there for me.

masscows 01-16-2009 07:45 PM

listened to a couple Capharnaum songs earlier, they were ok but not good enough for me to really care to check out a whole album

hismajestythepope 01-16-2009 08:15 PM

what songs did you check out?
Only since 2376 TA when the Proudfoot Uprising expelled all the racially impure and usurous inhabitants of the Shire, in response to rumours of dwarves poisoning the well at Michel Delving.
ahahahaha

masscows 01-16-2009 08:17 PM

the title track from that one album with the bloody shower drain or whatever and another song from that album

this. definitely one of the better swedish death metal albums and by far better than the material dismember were releasing. i wish they would have released another full length instead of dropping carnage for dismember.

The God That Never Was > LAEFS

rasputin 01-17-2009 10:12 AM

i still need to listen to the god that never was

will get around to that soon i think

masscows 01-17-2009 10:13 AM
The God That Never Was > LAEFS
nah it's good but it's too streamlined imo

The Feeding 01-17-2009 10:55 AM
The God That Never Was > LAEFS
whaaaaaaaaat

I still have not listened to Dark Recollections. Only Carnage song I've heard is the first bonus track in Like an Ever Flowing Stream, Deathevocation. And that song is extremely elite.

Deth 01-17-2009 11:10 AM

Dark Recollections features unholy riffs from beyond the grave^10.

Six Foot Revolver 01-17-2009 11:50 AM

guys, are intestine baalism's stuff other than ultimate instinct worth checking out?

Txus 01-17-2009 12:03 PM

Yep, check out Banquet first!

and

LAEFS >>>TGTNW

and Carnage does rule.

and obnoxiously loud drumming for SATAN

Nostalgia 01-17-2009 01:17 PM

lol how is the drumming obnoxious? the tone of the snare is perfect.

xtal 01-17-2009 01:21 PM
the tone of the snare is perfect.
it gets me all hot and bothered

Nostalgia 01-17-2009 01:35 PM

I think it's just a little too satanic for you.

Angmar 01-17-2009 02:01 PM

Nick is vry picky about his drums!

xtal 01-17-2009 02:03 PM

especially snares

Angmar 01-17-2009 02:04 PM

idk why you'd be bothered by the drumming on Dark Recollections tbh.

Nostalgia 01-17-2009 02:48 PM

Yeah the drumming is crushing sorry it's not like The Faceless of wittr.

hismajestythepope 01-17-2009 05:30 PM
and obnoxiously loud drumming for SATAN
