yea, im gettin it for my 12" snare. rim clicks are so poopty on it, but otherwise I love the snare.

So if I like the wedge, I might get the jingle wedge (or whatever it's called) later for the side snare. sucks that they're so expensive though. I kinda feel bad spending $40 on a block of wood.


also, I think I'm gonna make a percussion table. Kinda like this:

I will spend the $40 for the block of wood... but I think I can throw together a few pieces of wood and a bit of carpet for cheaper than $70.

I'm sort of worried I ate bloody chicken...

It was...like, there was this little splotch of thick, red-ish liquid on the bone, but the rest of the chicken was fine. The meat had to have been thoroughly cooked, because it was on the grill for over an hour...still. I ate a ton of food, and vomiting would be extraordinarily unpleasant.

I have a nice mix for my band's song but i need to come back to it since i mixed the whole thing in one/two sittings.

went and finished our recording today. we did gang vocals and stuff, it was fun. i love recording, but it's oddly draining and i'm always exhausted when i get home.

I hate Grand Junction.
