Right. I've got a skull twisting headache, so I'm off to bed.

w00t Canadian Thanksgiving tomorrow.

br3ad_man 10-08-2005 10:18 PM

Good night.

Holy hell the new Lightning Bolt album is awesome.
This is one of my favorite pieces of dialogue from The Simpsons...
Mines probably the one where Homer and Marge are watching Little Richard live.

Homer: Play "Purple Rain"!
LR: Shut up!
Homer: *whispers to marge* Michael Jackson just told me to shut up.

I've never seen that. If it's from a new episode then you've got to be kidding me. It seems like nobody remembers any episodes before season 9 anymore, which is a real shame. You're remembering the best of the worst instead of the best of the best.

Daniel! 10-08-2005 11:54 PM

I haven't watched the Simpsons in a long time. Do the new episodes still suck?

Luxor 10-08-2005 11:57 PM

It might be a new one, I'm not sure. I never know if I'm watching a new one or not. They're all funny to me.

Well they're not much different so you probably wouldn't like them, but I would say they're slightly better than 2-3 years ago. Now that Family Guy is back on the air they no longer have to try to fill the gap with weird stuff.

The animation is completely different from the really old Simpsons (not worth watching), the Simpsons in the middle (best years of any show ever), and the new Simpsons (okay to watch sometimes).

It's a fun book.

I gotta quit smoking. Is there any little electrical device that you can put in your pants that zaps your nuts whenever you take a drag from a cigarette?

Because there should be.

 That would be a rather good invention. I have a horrible habit of smoking whenever I'm waiting for a bus or something. I smoke menthols as well so I smell really bad afterwards.

Ugh, menthols. They're not Newports or Salems, are they?

Goddam nicotine and its sweet, addicting allure.

I smoke Marlboro Menthols or Marlboro Lights. I don't get cravings as such, just when I'm waiting for a bus or walking to a friends house or something I just light up.

It pisses me off that I'm at college because they're fair game pretty much all the time.

My friend's smoking Marlboro Lights right now in hopes to ween himself off. He's been smoking heavily for more than 6 years though and I only have 1 year of moderate smoking under my belt. Good luck to him. He goes through almost a pack a day, more or less. I go through a pack every few days. And now when I buy them, it's strictly BOGO (buy one get one free).

I've only been smoking for a few weeks, I started due to stress and personal problems and a cigarette calms me down. It usually takes me about 5-7 days to go through a pack of 10 so I'm an occasional smoker at most.

Thing is, I switched to Menthols from Lights because the smoke made me cough alot and Lights seem a bit too chemical tasting. I want to get off Menthols because they smell disgusting but I don't want to smoke something too strong.

Most smokers go through their lives trying to find that happy medium. That sad part is, there is none.

The reason I started (and a lot of my friends too) is that after you smoke trees, a cigarette enhances the high so much. Now it doesnt do anything, which is the sign that it's time to quit.

True. I don't want to smoke something that's overwhelming. I've heard Camel Lights are quite good as they don't overwhelm you with the strenght but they're nicer tasting then Marlboros which are a bit too chemically tasting.

Happymeal 10-09-2005 07:41 AM

Yous guys need some spanking.

I have a pack of Camel Silvers right now. They're basically Camel Lights; and yeah, they're one of the non-crappier tasting cigarettes.

So I'm in the works of starting a dance-punk band. :D

I think another band ripping off Gang of Four is just what the world needs right now.

Now I know where all of my amazing dance moves come from.
