get the 2 stands/arms now and get the crash when you can. theres no point having it if you dont have a stand.

also, stock heads usually arent the best, look into maybe a coated amb?or a coated controlled sound.

just tuning it evenly should make it sound better, you cant just turn the lugs any which way and hope to luckout and get a decent sound.
