Win A Rabbit 01-27-2006 12:07 PM

i'm all done my exams. yay.

so i walk into the gym to write it, and on the left side is grade 9 science and french social 30. so i continue walking until i get to the right side of the room, where the social 33 tests are all distributed. for some reason they decided against the alphabetical order, so they scrambled 100 of the same tests all in 3 rows of desks. so i'm going up and down the rows like everyone, trying to find mine. i go up and down both, still can't find mine. go again. can't find it. ask someone where it is, and apparently they ran out of desks to put the tests on in the right side of the room, and mine is in the back left corner. the complete opposite of where everyone else's was. it was very confusing.

Panopticon 01-27-2006 12:12 PM

yeah thats why my school is better...they have a few classes writing an exam the same day...and they alternate rows for each subject...they tell you the rows that your exam is in and you just go and sit at any desk in one of those rows and you write your name on it then write the exam...easy as pie....

im hungry
Freaking awesome, I think I got 100% on my calculus midterm. I had a 33% average last semester.
Is that a college course?

Epiphender 01-27-2006 02:01 PM

Yep first year.

Win A Rabbit 01-27-2006 02:11 PM

my friend did calculus through correspondance. she did all her highschool and university prep classes through correspondance. i'd never be able to do that.

anyways, i got called in for work today. i figured an extra $70 can't hurt. plus, it's just the group of me and my 3 friends working tonight, so it should be great. i'm bringing in the beatles' "revolver" cd, since i've been listening to it alot lately. i played along to the whole cd on drums today. good way to pass the time having fun.

styler 01-27-2006 02:41 PM

Brokensticks 01-27-2006 03:33 PM

Well I bet noone misses me, my comp have been screwed for about 5 days and i'm on my friends. Hopefully mine will be fixed today though. Anyways, I have a cowbell that i have beside my hats on a thing I don't know what it's called, it goes around the stand and sticks out horizonbtally, and then theres a vertical bar which goes through the loop on the cowbell and then you tighten it. Drum Phil I think you said you have one of almost the same type. Anyways my grandma said to go buy something and she'll pay me back for my b day present and I'm getting a red low pitch Jam Block that I want where the cowbell is but on the side closer to the hats. I want them side by side. Any opinions on how I would mount it or anything??? DO i need another thing like the cowbell one?

Brokensticks 01-27-2006 03:38 PM

Nevermind I realise i can adjust it on the vertical bar.

nice one epi. a few weeks ago i learned that my math teacher somehow managed to get a 100% for the year in calc. when he was in college.

he then went on to mention the time he walked on to wimbledon the week before the tourn. through the press enterence.

Talos 01-27-2006 03:39 PM

I hate my snare, no matter how much i tune it nothing does the trick. Do you think I need a snare side head?
Im using stock at the minute but if it doesnt make the sanre sound better i wont

Also, can i put my Wuhan 10" Splash on my 18" Crash ( When the splash arrives )?

Futuro 01-27-2006 03:42 PM
Im using stock at the minute but if it doesnt make the sanre sound better i wont
They wouldn't sell them if they did nothing. I change the reso every year on mine.
Also, can i put my Wuhan 10" Splash on my 18" Crash ( When the splash arrives )?
You could, But im not sure why you would.

try just cranking it right up and no, the splash idea wouldn't work im afraid

Futuro 01-27-2006 03:45 PM
Im saving up for a new crash so I dont wanna buy an arm
Metal on Metal = no no. At least I wouldn't. What you could do is put a felt between both of the bells and put the splash upside down (Or right side up, but it would look more comfortable upside down)

Talos 01-27-2006 03:46 PM
try just cranking it right up and no, the splash idea wouldn't work im afraid
Cheers.

Ive tried doing everything to the snare, it just sounds crap.

Should i buy an arm or a stand for the splash?

Futuro 01-27-2006 03:47 PM
