Broken Arrow 12-29-2004 07:07 PM
Yeah, not to mention insulting NPC resulting in an extra 11 days :p.

Umm, plus making this thread which caused some problems.
i really liked it, not as much as most of the Beatles albums, but i thought it was better than most of their solo albums. Besides Imagine, I really liked the last song on the second side, anyone know what its called?
Oh Yoko

Am I right?

thickasabrick 12-29-2004 07:09 PM

which one is the Floyd album that doesn't have a lot of new material. Is it Ummagumma?

clown_phobia 12-29-2004 07:10 PM

All this talking of banning! I've only been banned once - and that was my original clown_phobia account. I was banned in late June I think. I never found out why. :(

Broken Arrow 12-29-2004 07:11 PM

Imagine's my second favourite Beatles solo album next to All Things Must Pass by George and every solo album by Ringo.

Paul Mcartney is playing the Superbowl half time show. I hope he has a costume malfunction. :naughty:

thickasabrick 12-29-2004 07:12 PM

ya it had the name Yoko in it, so it must have been Oh Yoko. Anyone else like that song?

clown_phobia 12-29-2004 07:13 PM

Yeah - I like the whole album. Jealous guy might be my fav. song.

if i hear one more person use the term "costume malfunction" im gonna snap, it's the new "is that your final answer?"

Ringo has good solo albums? i have two of his, one has something to do with Flowers, and im not sure about the other one. i haven't listened to them though. I'd better put them on my to do list for when i get back.

Creedence Clearwater 12-29-2004 07:15 PM

wow, how cool is magibus' user title, now thats something I like.

clown_phobia 12-29-2004 07:16 PM

I've only heard of Ringo's self titled: "ringo". Is it good?

I never heard solo Ringo, or any drummers solo work, it is really any good?

thickasabrick 12-29-2004 07:18 PM

i was laying there half alseep while listening to the album (Imagine), so I don't remember any of the songs actually. it took me about half an hour to gather up enough strength to get off the couch to turn the record over.

thickasabrick 12-29-2004 07:20 PM

hey look its Creedence! i've been waiting for you to come around so i could rep you.

Do you (or anyone else for that matter) have Chronicles? i've been wanting to discuss it with someone.

BludgeonySteve 12-29-2004 07:21 PM

Chronicles of what?

clown_phobia 12-29-2004 07:21 PM

What modern bands do you people like?

thickasabrick 12-29-2004 07:21 PM

Bob Dylans book. It's called Chronicles (volume 1)

And then when you got back to the couch you realised you had turned it over a bit too much and was listening to the same side agian (personal experience)

/is still one rep away from stars, hint ;)

BludgeonySteve 12-29-2004 07:22 PM
Bob Dylans book. It's called Chronicles (volume 1)
oic. I need that badly :(. *cry*

thickasabrick 12-29-2004 07:23 PM
What modern bands do you people like?
what does modern mean?

i like Coldplay, and if Maroon 5 come on the radio i wont change it, but i really don't hear a lot of newer stuff. i'm kind of cut off from the modern world.

What are some good songs by Robert Johnson? Dylan went on and on about him in his book, so i'm very curious. I've heard a few songs here and there, but i dont recall any of them really.
You must spread some more reputation around before giving it to Creedence Clearwater again.
That's all I can do for you for now.

I am actually waiting for my mum to return home with the car so I can go buy it with money from christmas, then I will read it tonight.

thickasabrick 12-29-2004 07:25 PM

;) Yah, 1019 rep pionts, now what?

thickasabrick 12-29-2004 07:27 PM

it took me a couple days to read it. Christmas and other family stuff kept getting in the way!

oh i've heard the story alright. But what is the significance of the actual crossroads? like if the devil came to his house, the story still would have been famous. i often wonder that.

and i will keep those songs in mind, thanks! :thumb:

edit- and now i neg rep you!! HAHAHA, just kidding. ;) im sure those stars will show up eventually.
