No, I'm listening to 50 Cent right now. It's good stuff.

Fitty, the Game, and Kanye West all rule. Deltron 3030 sounded phunky, too.

EDIT: Reading over what I just typed, the "No" at the beginning was pretty fucking pointless.

Simple Man 07-31-2005 01:07 AM

Kayne West is awesome

I'm ready for his new CD

Also, Hello all.

3074326 07-31-2005 01:08 AM

Diamonds are Forever is an awesome song.

Illmatic 07-31-2005 01:08 AM

Fitty and The Game

White boy alert!

Simple Man 07-31-2005 01:09 AM
Diamonds are Forever is an awesome song.
It sure is. It has a remix too. I like it better,

3074326 07-31-2005 01:09 AM

Haha, for some reason I enjoy them. Fitty makes me laugh and I actually like the content of the Game's stuff half the time.

NERD is by far the best in that bundle of genres though.

Illmatic 07-31-2005 01:11 AM

There's something endearing about N.E.R.D.

Simple Man: The remix meaning the version with Jay-Z? I can't say I like either version better, really.

Simple Man 07-31-2005 01:14 AM

Yea, They're probably my two favorites. It's great to have them both in a song.

Shred Danson 07-31-2005 01:15 AM

NP: The Game- Dreams

MLK Had a dream. Biggie had a dream. Left Eye had a dream.

Numbers mod has a different kind of dreams.

Illmatic 07-31-2005 01:17 AM

It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine
Salt-n-Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine

3074326 07-31-2005 01:20 AM

Yeah, my dreams are odd. I'll give you that.

That song rules though. I just sent it to Eggo.

Shred Danson 07-31-2005 01:21 AM

Salt-N-Pepa can kick the crap out of Destiny Child any day.

I'd like to see that, actually.

3074326 07-31-2005 01:22 AM

Destiny's Child just needs to die in real life.

They are dead. (as in broken up)

3074326 07-31-2005 01:23 AM

Haha, that's not dead enough for me.

Yeah, I just realized that it's about 3:30. Later guys.

If I have a DVD is their any way that I can first copy it onto my computer. Then, host it on a website?

The very original version is the best, nothing beats Shirley Bassey. In my opinion it is easily the best Bond theme song.

Riva 07-31-2005 04:36 AM

I wish I could get the Bond Theme songs on a CD.

Liberi Fatali 07-31-2005 04:39 AM

I got it here, http://www.realgroovy.co.nz/music/id/2932457

Although it is a Kiwi site.

Oh shi, I'm not touching that. :p

Only kidding Dan.

So, I took some Japanese students out to the reef again. One of them was supposedly a Japanese comedian. During lunch, he told a few jokes, which had the other two in tears. When one of them (the good at English one) translated a particularly funny one for me, it was: "The situation in Tokyo is so bad that the rubbish is moving to Hiroshima".

Haha, those crazy Japanese. I really don't get that joke, but I'm sure if I was from Japan I would.

Japanese people aren't funny, remember?

Good morning people, i no-longer feel ill and i watched both Dune and Touching The Void last night. In other news, it has taken me 2 weeks to download 59.7% of the Gundam Seed series via a Bittorent. I believe thats going to be left when i go on Holiday on Thursday.

superpeer 07-31-2005 09:47 AM

Hello everyone, haven't been here for a while. :)

RCA 07-31-2005 09:50 AM

Hey Jelle.

Arucard: I could never get into Gundam Seed. :(

Cain 07-31-2005 09:55 AM

G'morning. Three days and counting until I leave to visit my girlfriend. :D

I hope to have my Yngwie installment of the article up later today. And... Liberi, Simple Man? Here? It's amazing.

EDIT: Good to have you back, Jelle. :)

superpeer 07-31-2005 09:57 AM

I've been so busy, lately. Nothing productive, unfortunately. I went bowling yesterday, it had been years.

I also bought two things on Friday.

Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album) and Kill Bill on DVD.

clearvision 07-31-2005 10:11 AM

Thread!

I have Little Earthquakes by Tori amos and it is amazing...

Does she have any stuff that matched the quality?

Lord Abortion 07-31-2005 10:58 AM

hey folks...

I need to get the SOAD recording done for the thread comp... the maiden one looks to be as dead as courderoy...

only trouble is... little jake sent me a broken link and I have no recording... I'll try to get it off some other guys in the threaad... we're doing Forest.

and now he seems to not be on the interwebs for a week it's a bit of a bugger, no matter

clearvision 07-31-2005 11:04 AM

Wow, i just got some tori amos covers...

She makes teen spirit about 20x better imo...her cover of Bonnie and Clyde '97 by Eminem is amazingly spooky. And her cover of raining blood is downloading. She is pretty darn talented imo. I think I'll check out another of her albums.

I hear good things about this forest cover Ollie, who is playing on it? When do you think we'll get to hear it? Yus i think mr destructo is on vacation or something.

Lord Abortion 07-31-2005 11:08 AM

no... not big jake... little jake

I have no idea who is playing on it... I just got roped in to do vocals because I know the song

clearvision 07-31-2005 11:22 AM

NP : Staind - Mudshovel...it's a great song.

The first disc of 6DOIT is pretty good. The Glass Prison is decent, if a little long winded, and Blind Faith is brilliant. I have't really listened to the second disc much as I can never be bothered sitting through it all.

Could I trouble you for one Cathedral track? Or are you still on a crappy connection?

Lord Abortion 07-31-2005 11:29 AM

my connection should be working so if you will hng on a while the whole album shall be uploaded to repay you for the death album you kindly sent us

Sitting through the second disk is something I reccommend doing at some point. It's a very cohesive concept piece, with a ton of awesome themes that are modified and developed throughout the passage of the song. It's very effective. Maybe do it while you're cleaning your room someday or something, I don't know. :)

And yeah, "Blind Faith" is an incredible song. One of Petrucci's best solos, and one of DT's best "jam" sections.
