Hey H&D, the last couple lists of bands itt you and retired have blasted I was just wondering, of [I]currently active[/I] metalcore bands, who would you recommend??

One of my favorite metalcore bands right now is Too Pure To Die. They are on tour with All That Remains and August Burns Red who I am really into at the moment. Should be a sick tour and I cant wait for the 30th!!! Anyone else going to this? Check out the dates:

I actually like ABR too. They're pretty solid, even if they are generic.

We've all got douche bands that we love, their sound works for me thats all.

Check out evita. They're a quite similar to misery signals.

I heard them mentioned recently, i'll scope it out.

You might also like Dreaming In Oceans and The Casino Brawl.

They're probably the only 2 generic metalcore bands I enjoy (plus TEOAT) just because they're average/decent on CD but absolutely amazing live.

Been listening to [I]Life. Love. Regret.[/I] all day. Best metalcore album.

The Secret are really good. So are Buried Inside.
