Yeah that's what I'm thinking. The negative is having to be in a class with a bunch of posers who are expecting to magically gain the ability to write and come up with interesting ideas just because they've signed up for a class. Maybe that sounds pretentious but it would annoy me. That doesn't go to say there wouldn't be plenty of talented people in there as well, though. I can just tell my own mindset regarding the class would clash with a lot of others'.

Also, I just hate structuring shi[size=2]t[/size].

But structure could help you a lot, especially if you can apply what you've learned and come up with some unique ways to structure your stories.

Plus, you can't be THAT pessimistic that you expect everyone there to be posers... there has to be at least a few decent kids in the class that you could meet.

Structure sucks.

My English teacher says I use too many "Americanisms" in my short stories...
