CAN YOU FEEL THE GROOVE??!!

I don't know why I find that part so entertaining.

Six Foot Revolver 07-30-2005 04:08 PM

So I just watched Constantine and it is a pretty good movie. Certainley has some original concepts and ideas in it but unfortunately Keanu's acting can ruin it at times. For those people who have seen this film what is your opinion on it? How is everyone by the way?

I've seen that show once or twice...the only good part of the show is the Wesley Willis theme song.

It's a shame, too...I can't believe something with Stephen Colbert could be unfunny.

Also, I think I'm the only person who can't wait to go back to school.

Toilet paper. The act of throwing it over his house/trees/yard.

I say turn the hose on him. :D

Shred Danson 07-30-2005 04:51 PM

I saw the new episode last Sunday, thought it was kinda funny, in that Adult Swim kinda way.

"I thought you gators hunt for food"

"Not when it's 2.99 at the costco!"

 redneck gator, wtf...

I think so too.

Summer is going by way too fucking fast. It's already halfway over. But hey, it's freshman year for me.

Illmatic 07-30-2005 05:47 PM

Well, I just can't wait to see my girlfriend and my college buddies again.

Shred Danson 07-30-2005 05:48 PM

I could probably wait a little longer. I mean, for god's sake, I'm used to starting school in friggin' SEPTEMBER, now I only have one week left of summer vacation...

Arucard 07-30-2005 05:50 PM

I went to sleep and now im wide awake again. On a plus note, i watched some of Dune.

Incorrect, Ray. I'm counting down the days. School beats anything that I can do at home all by myself.

We're like two peas in a pod, my friend.

Speaking of Stephen Colbert, "The Colbert Rčport" ("Yeah, that's right. It's French. What are YOU gonna do about it?"), the Daily Show's send-up of shows like "The O'Reilly Factor" and "Hardball With Chris Matthews" has been announced as its own show!

Arucard 07-30-2005 06:16 PM

Im just scared of my exam results on the 25th.

Steerpike 07-30-2005 06:17 PM

I'm actually waiting for school to start up so I can start making my movies.

I don't think so, I think his primary is a g-mail account but I have no idea what it is, sorry.

Steerpike 07-30-2005 06:26 PM
What kind of movies do you plan on making?
Mostly a handful of short (read: 10 minute) action flicks, a couple music videos, some comedy sketches, and the occassional odd-ball one like Talking Shop.

Shred Danson 07-30-2005 06:30 PM

I did a ten minute short once.

Then she woke up.

 I'm sorry, I had to do it, that's it with the lame jokes from me..

Go Los Al!

I think you live by my drummer, I'm not positive though.

Edit: I hate riding the public bus home from school, I pass Milikan on the way to my house and I get the weirdest looks from all the gangsters.

I would stop taking the window seats for now on :p

I'd rather go to Los Al than Cypress actually if I had the choice. The only good thing about Cypress is practically everyone I know from junior high is going there. Bah, at least I'm not going to Western.

Cool. I wouldn't mind directing/creating/producing/whatever music videos. I think I would make a pretty good director but I have no idea how to prove it.

They board the bus with me. :afraid:

At least you're not going to Poly either.

Illmatic 07-30-2005 07:18 PM

Isn't Poly the school that didn't lose a single football game between 1992 and 2004 or something crazy like that? I don't think it is, but the name rings a bell.

So I have decided I am not going to go on the internet for a entire week so it isn't so high priorety in my life .Therefore I won't go on my computer as much and find more productive things to do with my life :).

Wish me luck :-/

You'd be surprised how simple it can be, really. All you need is a mini-DV camera, and a decnet computer and video editor.

I have this really cool idea for a music video for Sweet Miracle by Rush. In one particular scene when Geddy sings,"Swept beneath the surface," I want an overhead shot of myself walking through the gardens in front of the library at night and overlaying it with a rushing water effect shadow effect. As the verse goes on to "Lost without a trace/No hope at all, no hope at all," have the scene dissolve into the night sky.
