$650 to $700 for all of it, the guitar, the amp, and hardshell case. (tuner and extra strings thrown in too) I think its a good deal cause I was about to buy a brand new American Strat for $750, and that's without the other stuff.
Is it in good condition? How big is the amp?

Arucard 02-16-2005 02:46 PM

The guitar is excellent condition. One scratch, but nothing else, no cracks or chips or anything. This guy took really good care of it, and he just got it in 2003, so its pretty new also.

The amp is one of the 15W Marshalls, with reverb. Not too big, but better than my Ibanez 10W I've been using since I started playing.

Sounds good.

I used to work at a used record/CD store, and you have no idea how poorly some people treat those things.

Whys he selling it? Does he suck, or just lack the time to practice?

Arucard 02-16-2005 02:51 PM

Yah, that sounds sweet. I can wait for my Dean, really underated guitars.

You've got a Jackson. Do you really need a new guitar?

magicbus 02-16-2005 02:53 PM

He selling it cause it just sits around at his house. He only plays his acoustic now, so he thought he'd sell his electric for some extra cash.

And I was surprised at how well it was taken care of. It was the color I wanted too. (sunburst, and it has a maple neck which I was looking for too)

-Obscurity- 02-16-2005 02:53 PM

I have heard alot of good things about PRS lately, but never have had the chance to try one. Does anyone here own one?

No.

PRS is overrated, but still very nice.

Ah finally, back from school.

They'yre good quality, and well built, but are outrageously expensive.

Illmatic 02-16-2005 03:01 PM

Whoa, at the same time too.

Arucard 02-16-2005 03:03 PM

Yeh they do cost your arm and or leg.

Permanent Solution 02-16-2005 03:03 PM

People who own multiple PRSs are uber-rich, or sponsored :)

Yah, Sasuke looked alot like Arucard then. Although I techincally made this avatar from when Sakura was thinking about when he broke what's-his-names arms.

Arucard 02-16-2005 03:07 PM

Yeah, but higher end Les Paul's can go upwards of $5000! You can get an awesome Strat for around $1500.

Not so, I am not saying that they are the best, but there are some pretty nice sounding ones out there. The new American Plus/Deluxes are amazing, and half the price of PRS, Les Paul's, etc.

At least with Gibson/Epiphone you have the range from cheap to expensive.
PRS' just go from "Expensive" to "You will never be able to afford this".

Arucard 02-16-2005 03:20 PM

Meh. If i could have any guitar, chances are it would be a PRS of some kind.

algebra is no fun. I used to think math was ok, then I had to take algebra in high school. Yuck. and then you have geometry, which isn't better either.

I have seen most PRS's start around $3000, I am not sure how high it goes from there.
