Lol you're right. I love my generic pop metal and I'm not elite enough to like a lot of 90's metalcore. But hey the stuff I like makes me happy. =)

I do enjoy the newer stuff more though, I don't mean like The Devil Wears Prada or anything, but in general I like more new stuff than old.

nah man Misery Signals DO sound nearly identical to 7A7P.

Architects, Buried Inside and Oh, Sleeper have all made great albums in the last 4 years or so. They'll be future classics one day.

But one thing I can't disagree with on terms of classic amazing albums, the stuff of the 90's > present day.

i totally agree that the 90's scene was more heil worthy, but there's still great stuff... Intronaut, Swarm Of The Lotus, Misery Signals, Architects, etc. I'll get to see them live at least. Not to mention, Underoath's got so much potential in their current line-up.

Also, I saw The Banner on Sunday, and they were surprisingly really good live, and their singer was really cynical and made fun of himself a lot lol.
