i got this and The Lonesome Crowded West. both are so much better than their recent two albums which i didnt like much. Lives and I Came As A Rat are amazing songs

Lonesome Crowded West is by far their best imo so many killer songs

after listening to both, yeah The Lonesome Crowded West is my fav of the two but both are just so much better than anything they have done recently.

The Decemberists - Hazards of Love

**** this is good! i want to say that The Crane Wife is a bit better, but this could become their best after a few listens. the added increase of female vocals that are better than they were on previous albums is a nice touch. some of the female vocals gave me the chills.

this is one cool chick! she has a sexy voice and sings in a 50's rockabilly style of band. stand up bass, piano, etc. theres a ballad on the album called Knock 123 and it is such a gorgeous song. the majority of the album is fun and upbeat
