There's no way that's the album cover. It looks pretty cool though, and realistically, anything is better than DoD.

That artwork sucks to be quite frank. I'll be dissapointed if that is what appears on the front of the new album.

I think its their best art work to date to be honest, and i hope it does make the cover. I havn't been a fan of any of the art on their previous albums except for maybe BNW.

I hope you arent really serious about that. That's the worst maiden album cover IMO.

It's better than X Factor artwork. Now [I]that[/I] was terrible.

I'd doubt that'd be the artwork though. It doesn't seem very Maiden-ish.

No i am being serious. Of course it's just my oppinion but i prefer simplistic artwork to pictures with too much going on. I think like just a simple logo or illustration on a blank or simple background is nice.

The whole thing doesn't seem very Maiden-ish to me, but as long as the songs are good i really don't care:p

I think the fist track will be the single, such is usually the way of things.

Yeah i agree, plus it's the shortest so it's more likely then any other.

And according to Kevin Shirley, it has a killer 7/8 groove.

Im betting the concept will be about a war (maybe the second world war). Seeing as how the title is actually a title for a war movie(maybe 2nd world war movie, i forgot :(). Plus the track ''the longest day" is also a title for a a 2nd world war movie.


On the artwork subject, that piece of artwork will most probably the first single artwork.

That isn't the artwork, trust me Steve Harris would never allow it.

I can't make out the story through the song titles, but that artwork doesn't seem like it will fit.

Where is "Iron Maiden" going to fit on it anyway? They use a large font.

That artwork better not be on the album. It's nice and all, but it's NOT going to be the album cover.

I'm a little scared to hear this stuff..I mean..I LOVE my Maiden and will never not LOVE anything they do..But..I may just LOVE this album while being scared to 'kin hell.

I'm glad the majority of the songs have the classic writing team of Dickinson/Smith/Harris they usually give the best results.

I've tried googling his name and nothing came up. Which means they made up the name, which means he's a character in this story.

I was thinking the legacy will probably be like 'only the good die young', where it is just a recap of what has happened through the story.
