Permanent Solution 07-10-2005 11:48 PM

Eh, I was just playing, just not something I'm compelled to do :)

PDWAB 07-10-2005 11:50 PM

I was thinking the other day, and all the music I listen to is based around the same 12 notes! What about music that is made with other notes? Would it just sound out of tune, or what?

Only if it was played with those other 12 notes simultaneously. You couldn't detect the frequecy differences probably without a base of comprison.

Wouldn't it be cool, though, to listen to a completely different scale? Like our scale repeats over and over again, but what there was one where every note was different?

Impossible I think, or at least very ridiculously hard. Oriental Scales have over 30 notes though, I think.

Yeah that's what I heard. That's why I really want to hear alien music.

Excursions 07-11-2005 02:29 AM

I love all music, right now I really like this cd by Wirimba. It's some really good Aboriginal music. Of course I love jazz always.

poprocks&coke 07-11-2005 03:26 AM

Angry Balled Fists! 07-11-2005 04:47 AM

Hey all,

I'm in Graphics and we have German exchange studnets over at the moment.

Kif 07-11-2005 05:00 AM

Heh, exchange students are funny

Arucard 07-11-2005 05:10 AM

The Uni in my town gets exchange students every Summer. You can tell they are mainland European by their ridiculous clothing choice.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-11-2005 05:12 AM

haha, some are funny.

But there are a few really fit ones too.

Kif 07-11-2005 05:19 AM

I'm uploading a video to File Cabinet, which rules. It's this website like YSI, except you can stream media you upload to it.

Anyway, it's The Spirit Of Christmas, which was what got South Park noticed. I don't really know why I am uploading it, I was just bored and wanted to test it out.

It's taking ages though

Let's see if it works

Drum Boy 07-11-2005 05:41 AM

Yeah it works, pretty funny!

Drum Boy 07-11-2005 05:42 AM

Is that just a really old south park?

Kif 07-11-2005 06:03 AM
Is that just a really old south park?
Yeah, it was made before South Park. It was a promo Matt and Trey made for Comedy Central I think, that's why it sucks so much in quality. It was made with paper and everything apparently

Kif 07-11-2005 06:07 AM

OH YEAH!

New avatar

Drum Boy 07-11-2005 06:09 AM

Lol, love the avatar, oh family guy!

Oh right, yeah i was wondering, it just looks really old, and look where they are now, i'd say those two are rolling in it!

Kif 07-11-2005 06:20 AM

They must be, I mean it only takes about 2-3 days to make an episode of South Park, whereas it takes about 6 months apparently for an episode of The Simpsons

South Park is original as well, I remember watching the first few seasons with my dad. God, the halloween episode with Stan's goldfish scared the crap out of my for ages
