I ahve to say I thought of you at TBS, we had The Datsuns (darn good) then soundcheck then a whole friggin hour before VR came on so at one point I thought hmmm bet Butlers enjoying TBS / end of thought :)

Yeah My Chemical Romance played too, they had about a 45min/hour set, and TBS had like hour and half or somthing.

There was another band too who where good, i forgot there name but i literaly got into the hall and they came on.

dammit yesterday we walked into the bar area to go through and find our seats and were like "oh shi!" we felt so out of place- the place was full of guns n roses looky-likies, and here were us two girls, without guys just looking out of place. Then in the bit between The Datsuns and VR everyone round us kept going and getting cold beers and we were like :eek: and almost drooling over them...well not quite

haha and this dude came and sat in the row in front of us and kind of looked round him to see who was there. He looked at us and was kinda like ":confused: are they for real?" till I looked at him :o, anywho later on he realised yes we were. 'Cause it was between their set and their first encore and I decided to just go for it when it went quiet and scream "Duff" as loud as I could (quite loud :p) and then I just looked at my mate as if to say "that wasnt me :o"...so anywho when I finally turned round this dude, who was all muscly and tatooed and shaved head with a beard and stuff (he was cool though) had been staring at me like "wtf? sh!t how the f.uck did [I]she[/I] manage that?" and then when he saw me looking at him he went "ow!" as if "woah sh!t she has lungs"....I was proud :)

And good to hear you enjoyed it. Datsuns were the support act? Interesting.

Im crap with gigs, i swear i can never remember much, all i can remember is that there was this guy i know from college in the pit, and he just kinda appeard next to us, he used to have realy long hair, now its short, the first thing he said to us was "look ive had my hair cut" we all thaught "yes we can see that".

During the show he was so funny though, he was singing at the top of his vioce and drowning the band out, he was full out moshing, he kept bumping into us and stuff, so a lot of the time we was just laughing at him.

that and the fact that I FINALLY GOT TO SEE DUFF and saw slash at the same time :cool:, Dave Kushner is actually a darn good guitarist, all the focus is on Slash (understandably) but hes well good, they did some solo sparring stuff and yeah, hes good :)

I rememeber most set lists of gigs. I can still recite the Mogwai one, which was over a year ago. Althought that might have been because that was the greatest musical performance I have ever seen.

Slash seems to have got lazy with VR IMO, his solos have always been cool, but now they are not that complicated. the other guitarist looks familiar, but i cant think from where

Hmmm I can see what you're saying with Slash, but in the live set they did a lot of extended solos in the middle of the songs and stuff which were cool.

And actualy odd as you mgiht think it, Scott Weiland is actually quite good at GNR songs, he did them dam well last night, though duff was singing for a lot of them too (:D)
