Yeah, that was probably him. I don't remember. Towards the end of the thread, there were just too many assholes to keep tabs on them all. I just remember that I told him to "shut the hell up" because he said something stupid and he went off on me.
He said "no you shut up you stupid bitch" and called you a c*nt. Which is why I reported him, which is why he no doubt was banned shortly thereafter. NP: Michael Hedges- Baal T'Shuvah |

NP: Michael Hedges- Baal T'Shuvah
 Yeah. Needless to say that pissed me off to no end. Thats one of the words I have no tolerance for. Jerkoff. |
Okay, I have found something positive. I site about The Pillows in English turned up. It'd been timing out all week, so I was starting to wonder if it was going to permanently shut down. But it's working now.
So the spotlight will be up soon. Not as much info as I would have liked, but I can't be picky anymore. The uploads will arrive whenever the modem stops mocking me. |

You can give it a shot. Anyway, I got the thread up. I'm going to get something to eat before filling the second post with all the relevant information. |

Good to see ya back, Leah. :)
Oooo, more Steerpike spotlights...can't wait. :D |
Erm, hey R&M'ers.
I was thinking of maybe doing a featured gfenre type thing, introducing you guys to some pop-punk ? |
Erm, hey R&M'ers.

I'm sorry ?
I said that I am going to amke a featured genre on pop-punk for you lot... |
Actually, Vincent beat you to it. Pop-punk was featured genre #3.
|
Argh, yeah.
Oh well, i had plans. BIG plans. Mine would have been AWESOME |
Good to see ya back, Leah. :)
Oooo, more Steerpike spotlights...can't wait. :D
Hey Mike! Yeah, I'm glad to be back...you have no idea. :D Going to upload those songs now, Alex. |
Vince already did it. It's linked in the rules somewhere if my memory serves me right...quite an interesting read though.
If memory serves... Figures. I did a j-rock band today, so now I'm thinking Japanese. Iron Chef, specifically. Anybody around here ever watch that show? |
I've seen like 5 minutes of it, I think...
Weird beyond belief. If memory serves correctly, lots and lots of yelling. My favorite thing to come out of Japan, though, were the old school Godzilla movies. The ones with the guy in a rubber suit stepping on model cars/trains/buildings...and dubbed in English. Brilliant. :p |

Godzilla was never made of fire, wtf is that?
Godzilla was never made of fire, wtf is that?
shattered: copy and paste into address place thingy
Grazie. :) Looks like Godzilla had too much hot sauce... :p |
Got it working.
It looks like Godzilla touched his fajita plate after the waitress told him not to. |
Godzilla was never made of fire, wtf is that?
shattered: copy and paste into address place thingy
That was Godzilla vs. Destroyer, made in 1995, in which Big G's nuclear heart or whatever inside him began to melt down. At the end of the movie, Godzilla melts down and is destroyed once and for all...in a totally badass scene. But then they use the old "the radioactive energy brought Godzilla Jr. back to life!" gimmick, so there's still a Godzilla. |
Got it working.
It looks like Godzilla touched his fajita plate after the waitress told him not to.
That sounds like the SNL with Hillary Swank as the host... Waiter: "HOT PLATES!" Keenan Thompson: "I need to touch the plate..." Hillary Swank: "He said it was really hot though...look, its burning the tablecloth!" Keenan: "I need to touch it..." *touches it with pinky finger, jams pinky finger in water glass, water begins to boil* *Hillary Swank touches her plate...hand melts onto plate* Brilliant... |
I loved Godzilla when I was younger. Still do, to an extent, I've got all of the movies. :D
When I was littler I went in my pool and pretended to rise out of the water like the G-man did, with all of the water splashing about before I surfaced. <_< >_> |
If memory serves...
Figures. I did a j-rock band today, so now I'm thinking Japanese. Iron Chef, specifically. Anybody around here ever watch that show?
I did a couple times. Pretty cool stuff. |

Oh good, I'm not the only one who did that. I also tried to talk underwater like the fish dude in the old He-Man cartoon. That was a mistake I lived to regret. |
Anyone here ever seen Stella? I saw half of an episode and was kinda weirded out. I love Michael Ian Black though.
I also saw VH1s Least Metal Moments. Great stuff, that. Alice Cooper playing golf.... |

What happened? Did you almost drown or something? TMS: I saw the first two episodes. They were indeed weird, but each had a good amount of simple comedy. |
What happened? Did you almost drown or something?
Nothing so dramatic. But I ended up choking when I accidentally snorted some chlorine water up my nose. God, did that suck. |

Ick, chlorine water is the bane of all things fun and aquatic. |

I just thought that one line was funny: Michael: They've got brass knuckles! other dude: and numchucks! other dude: .....sweeeeet EDIT: Mike - never seen Reno 911. The only stuff I watch on Comedy Central...religiously...is SouthPark and The Daily Show unless I catch something interesting. |

I've got you all beat. When I was five, I would run around kicking dust and dirt into little clouds while imitating the train engines from "Thomas the Tank Engine." I would also use pool cues as muskets while reenacting Civil War battles in my backyard. <_< x 10 |

<_< x 10
Actually, my Dad already has you beat. He saw a TV show when he was a kid with a guy who made a "Hercules belt." My dad, I think about 10 at the time, snuck into the garage and connected a belt to a set of jumper cables and the car battery. Damn near killed himself. |

<_< x 10
That's pretty awesome. :thumb: Props to you. I was a pretty odd little kid. Didn't enjoy dolls too much. Was tri-lingual (more fluent than I am now) and loved Disney movies like Beauty and the Beast.
Actually, my Dad already has you beat. I have the win...I have a picture of me when I was like 5 wearing underwear and a fireman's hat, while holding the vaccuum hose and pretending to be a fireman. <_<
Dan: Sorry I beat ya to that FG :p |

This would be funnier and/or more shocking if I had any idea what a "Hercules belt" is. EDIT: All the adults I met liked me because I would walk around singing Tom Petty and Eagles songs, because that's what my dad would always have me listen to in the car on trips. |
About 10 years ago, my family was having one of our monthly movie nights. My parents were trying to play host to about 10 people in a small one-story house, so you can imagine it wasn't easy for them. I was in charge of watching my baby sister.
But then I had to go to the bathroom. She took that opportunity to escape from her room. I didn't know she left. An hour later, she turned up in the front yard carrying political signs and lawn ornaments from across the neighborhood under her arm. And about 5 years before that... I can't believe I'm gonna tell you people this... My family was eating out at Olga's restaurant in D.C. I went to the bathroom. For an hour. The men's room there was a single room that locked. So I tied up the bathroom for an hour. And I was singing. Loud enough for people about 20 feet from the door to hear. The icing on the cake was the guy waiting at the door for 20 minutes before storming off in frustration for another restaurant's bathroom (this was at a mall). 30 seconds later, I come out all smiles and my parents are trying very hard to sink beneath everyone's notice. |
