Just stopping in to say **** Becoming The Archetype. They're cheesy as **** and boring as hell.

My old band opened for them, more kids came out to see us than them ahahaha.

ive always liked them, but i dont listen to them as much as i used to. i still stand by my word that they were great live when i saw them

There were like 5 kids there during their set when Paraphilia opened for them, not even kidding. Probably didn't even care, which is probably why they were so shitty.

Yeah, pretty sure they're bigger in the South/South West. Not many people around here think they're good, which is surprising because the general metal fan is into tons of other garbage of the sort.

As for top 5 you've seen live, idk, they might put on a good show when they're motivated, but I don't think I'd enjoy them even then.

Regardless, best Christcore bands (live) are either Underoath or As Cities Burn.

edit: watching Becoming The Archetype videos, they put on about as good of a show as any of these videos even with like 5 people around, which is kind of cool I guess, but how does their performance stand out above any other generic metal band's?

Yeah, they put on a damn good show, also, hell of a lot more energetic than Becoming The Archetype.

never been huge on the genre, mind you never really given it the time of day tbh. i've only heard some of the worst exponents I assume

I think from memory you said you liked architects and their probably the best metalcore band along with Mis Sigs from this 2nd wave of metalcore.
