wtf

the show is incredibly good

Jaundice 09-27-2009 10:52 PM

bug takes profound human suffering to the level of an exploitation, and delivers scenes of such graphic intensity that they make The Exorcist look like a carefree stroll in the park

arrested development however is v unffunny and immature

DBlitz 09-27-2009 10:53 PM

lol

im hoping you just copied and pasted that from somewhere because im not seeing any of that. kinda starting to bug me.

Jaundice 09-27-2009 10:55 PM

i read it in a magazine, maybe Spin or something like that.

illmitch 09-27-2009 10:55 PM

get outta here alex, arrested is amazing

AA-12 09-27-2009 10:55 PM

i need to drop loads soon

Meatplow 09-27-2009 10:56 PM

bug is one of the worst films i've ever seen

i mean I watch terrible exploitation films a lot of the time and I would rate bug so much lower then any of them. it's strangely popular though

Jaundice 09-27-2009 10:56 PM

go listen to mountain goats and ildjarn mitch

big80smullet 09-27-2009 10:58 PM

arrested development is like a shittier peep show with less jokes

AA-12 09-27-2009 10:58 PM

you know what's an amazing and underrated movie? the mist. i was literally blown away at the end of it. i had to rewind it like twice to figure out if what happened actually happened.

illmitch 09-27-2009 10:58 PM

too late, im listening to katy perry

Jaundice 09-27-2009 10:59 PM

i thought the mist was stupid and overly violent . ending was forced and un neces

see i had read people talking about how much they hated bug bc 'theres only 3 actors in it' and 'it only takes place in one room' and 'you dont know whats real and what isnt arhrhahrhahrhrhrghghg you have to think a little bit', and usually when i see people complaining about these things that means ill love the movie. linklater's film 'tape' for instance was phenomenal. but this just sucks so far. ill endure it to the end though and see if it gets any better.

the spanish film i watched the other night, timecrimes, was awesome. i think theyre remaking it here in america, which means they will thoroughly ruin it and make it some big budget bourne popcorn flick.

xMalcolmXx 09-27-2009 11:00 PM

porn is really letting me down today

illmitch 09-27-2009 11:00 PM

overly violent? no such thing

Deth 09-27-2009 11:00 PM

when did it become cool to hate arrested development

AA-12 09-27-2009 11:01 PM
i thought the mist was stupid and overly violent . ending was forced and un neces
not really. it was just the opposite of typical holywood movies. it went for a horribly depressing ending opposed to a happy one.

big80smullet 09-27-2009 11:01 PM

foreign movies > american movies

Jaundice 09-27-2009 11:01 PM

i'm pretty sure the in thing is to fellate the living hell out of arrested development

because shooting everyone and then realizing you are fine is complicated.

illmitch 09-27-2009 11:01 PM
foreign movies > american movies
with respect to horror, definitely, i havent explored other genres in foreign film that much though
i'm pretty sure the in thing is to fellate the living hell out of arrested development
why do you have to view it as a trend? its a really good show

AA-12 09-27-2009 11:02 PM
because shooting everyone and then realizing you are fine is complicated.
it wasnt that, i just assumed there was something more. ending a movie on that dark of a note is extremely uncommon.
not really. it was just the opposite of typical holywood movies. it went for a horribly depressing ending opposed to a happy one.
meh, it seemed more to me that they hurried up and threw any twist on the end of it because the unresolved ending of the short story wasn't hollywood enough

Jaundice 09-27-2009 11:03 PM
why do you have to view it as a trend? its a really good show
you're right, that's kind of messed up on my part

but the fact that eight miles high likes it means I have no choice but to view it as a trend.

even king said the movie ending was way better than his.

Jacaranda 09-27-2009 11:04 PM

he was kidding.

lol

Nepenthe 09-27-2009 11:04 PM

has anyone seen the movie i mentioned, tape? ****ing awesome movie, does such a good job of showing how morally grey (as opposed to black or white or whatever) every single human is.

AA-12 09-27-2009 11:05 PM

nah, the short story was fairly boring. the ending wasn't nearly as good as the movie's ending.

big80smullet 09-27-2009 11:05 PM

foreign is a genre
it wasnt that, i just assumed there was something more. ending a movie on that dark of a note is extremely uncommon.
what

Jaundice 09-27-2009 11:05 PM

it wasn't a bad ending, i just didn't get anything from it.

the guy brought it on himself anyway, he could have broken the kids neck instead of shooting him. or he could have slashed his own throat with glass from the car window, or assaulted one of the officers and been shot down. kind of unrealistic

DBlitz 09-27-2009 11:06 PM

why would he kill himself before that?

Jacaranda 09-27-2009 11:06 PM

or he could have just left his kid.

FatalEnergy 09-27-2009 11:07 PM
why would he kill himself before that?
also, they were all killing themselves, that was the idea

AA-12 09-27-2009 11:09 PM

i guess. he wanted to see whatever was after them/be killed by it.
