Sunny day? Or you're bipolar. Either way you'll in a bad mood soon enough:wave: |

Or you're bipolar. Either way you'll in a bad mood soon enough:wave:
It's a sunny day, but I don't think that's it. We've been having plenty of them lately. I'm probably not bipolar. |
Somebody got some last night.
Congrats.
I didn't. :upset: But speaking of that, what's the best way to approach a girl you haven't spoken to? She works right around the corner from where I do, seen her a few times, acknowledged the existence of the other. I've just never seen her outside of her work (some gay salon/woman beautification place). |
girls like being approached by:
1) confidence 2) strength of conversation 3) disconnection 4) being a dick (but do so in a charismatic way not in a mean way) girls do not like being approached by 1) weaklings 2) shyness 3) embarrassed guys 4) pansy guys there you go |
i usually open initiations with females by commenting on some part of their appearance
"you'd look really good if you lost a few pounds from your thighs" WHAT OMG LOL UR SO MEEN /playful shove done deal. |
I just need an un-retarded way to walk into her work.
*in security uniform* "Hi, I'm the stripper you ordered for the party. Who's the lucky lady getting married?" I doubt that one would work... :p |
im serious dude be a dick a girl will instantly want to **** you just to make herself feel better about herself
go out of your way to insult her she'll think "he went out of his way to insult me. i have to **** him now to show him how wrong he is." |
what does a dick do to a pussy?

"It's good to be good."

OK, seriously, listen to these three covers, and then tell me that they're not all tasteful and well-orchestrated... and mean it.

my motto is always "if you can make a girl laugh, you can make her do anything."
Now if you ask her if she's seen your friend then make up some description and she'll be like no I haven't seen him then you can just be like we've been playing hide and seek for like a week now and this mfers got me stumped... So what are you doing later... |
Hmm. Well I don't know what to buy now. I get paid £270 tomorrow after tax has eaten away like £70 -_-
I have horrendous amounts of gear to buy, but I don't know what to buy from 'the list'. Might get one of those new stageclix wireless systems. They look neat. |
Well, I got a trade offer for my Conklin GTBD-7. It's a mid-90's Carvin LB76 in great condition with a hardshell case.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2rdzhQtKpI Whatcha think? Should I do it? I'm very tempted. I don't play the Conklin anymore and the Carvin has the Wilkinson bridge, ebony fretboard, 18V active EQ, and Sperzel Locking tuners. |
But the Conklin is a nice bass.
|
I really don't care for the Barts. They don't have enough bite.
The tone in those stacked humbuckers on the Carvin is awesome. I am thoroughly impressed with it thus far. Plus, since I never play the Conklin and I'm looking for another 6 to use on stage with me band, why not? If I need that high F, I'll just use my 8-string. |

My dad has one of their guitars and it's just incredibly smooth to play and has such a good tone. My dad's been playing 20+ years and he says it's the best guitar he's owned. If I ever see a carvin bass used at a shop I would love to play it but I've never had the pleasure :( e: whoa sextuple post^^^ dumbass |
I played a used fretless 6er missing the high c-string in guitar center one time. The neck looks ridiculously thin (sweet) and the tone is so punchy and versatile (if you listen to the video).

What's going on y'all?
(Wings in the West Finals, bitches.) |

Yes. I have to. **** I need the money, but I want a sexy bass to replace it. I'll make money by selling my body. |

yeah, asked around a bit, it'll work hardware has never really interested me before, so building a computer (as i am now) for the first time's pretty exciting ... it's lucky i've had nothing to do yesterday or the day before, cause all my time has gone into finding parts, looking up reviews and stuff like that softwares been my thing, hobby coder (or learner coder, whatever) dabbled a tiny bit in a few other areas |
In other news, the local police auction is happening tomorrow. There are 4 upright basses for bid and all of them are currently under $100. I figure I'll go and see if I can luck out and pick one up for $200.

Just got my 8GB of DDR2 (1066hz) memory in yesterday. Now all I need is a good power supply and a nice heatsink and she'll be ready. Then I get to install ubuntu and rid myself of Windows (ew). |
Why not just replace the Barts in your Conklin for some EMGs or Seymour Duncans or something?
