I'd say its the other way around, actually I'd say the new one and Through Silver in Blood are better than any Isis. Although I have not heard Celestial.

Tojes was right, Caspian sound EXACTLY like Explosion in the Sky. It's kind of eerie how similar they are.

IMO Caspian are alot better at being Explosions in the Sky than EITS, since Caspian don't suck. This Will Destroy You sound abit like Caspian and EITS but are way way better than both.

I saw Russian Circles last week, they were very good but they seemed a bit p[B]i[/B]ssed off with the sound for the whole set and played like 50 minutes with no encore.
Is that normal or was it because they were annoyed and cut it short?

I like Explosions in the Sky. They were the first post-rock band I listened to. That said, there's certainly much better bands than them.

I've listened to the album a couple times through now but I'm just not feeling the same way about this that I did with their first. I can't quite put my finger on it why though.
