EGN isn't the masterpiece that is Keasbey Nights.

Burger Bike 01-03-2007 09:46 PM

I hate to ask this but could anyone upload or send Keasbey Nights over AIM?

Only way I can hear it is at my buddies house and that lacks.

Listening to Gimp lately and it shows much more on this album that Tomas was influenced by Nirvana.

Twin Human Highway Flares 01-06-2007 02:27 PM

I don't think I've ever really listened to Gimp except Supernothing. And the Mrs. Butterfield or whatever one, the ska one that's horribly out of tune.

Thankfully, he grew out of that.

Henrik 01-07-2007 08:31 AM

I think GIMP is pretty good considered that he was about 16 when he wrote it.

Shut the fuck up!

Jabberjaw 01-08-2007 05:45 PM

Henrik, shut your fu(king mouth. None of you here know sh|t about Thomas. I'm his friend and sh|t. I've met him over three times and one time I said, "Man, sh|t, I'm your biggest fan" and he said "cool" which is basically the way he says "yes". Some of you appearanty had your meat mic's ruptured by the electro-magnetic pulse-like impact of EGN to be saying the assorted horsesh|t you Cun+wads have said and being unable to hear the brilliant music blasting off of the cd and raping your mom and little sister, passing on grandma and then fondling the dog, all while taunting you to do sumpn!. Which you didn’t.
I know why I never got into Streetlight. Keasbey Nights is of course brilliant, but EGN was way over my dumb a55 brains. All the songs off of it are great (EWN, Point/Counterpoint, etc), but I never got into it like I did with fu(king guys in the a55holes and mouths.
FIXED
I’m a fu(kwit.
FIJO

These two a55holes can sit on a pile of sh|t face first. Get your meatcrophones fixed, B|TCHS.

Your momma!

Streetlight threads breed idiots.

lynch_me 01-08-2007 06:08 PM

This is why every forum needs a super.

AIRIC 01-08-2007 06:09 PM

Yeah but Matt punks are immature you know this. Can't be trusted with this power.

lynch_me 01-08-2007 06:23 PM

I would only change your avatar to a backstreet boys one.

At least there's Kithykittens.

Kithkin 01-08-2007 10:41 PM

They only make one post, so there's no real point in banning them.

Liebensaft 01-09-2007 05:19 PM

I can't tell who is serious.

Henrik 01-10-2007 09:07 AM

None of them hopefully are.

New Post from their website:

"[I]hello.
in response to the recent wave of emails regarding the subject, we'd like to announce that our new record is most definitely not coming out today, january 23rd. we're not entirely sure how this date ever came about, and we're flattered that our next release is a matter of interest to at least those of you who have written in asking about today, but today's just not the day.
we're taking our time fine tuning and recording, we're not rushing anything and we're certainly not attempting to meet anyone's deadlines. music, at least for us, is not a product or part of a business plan and therefore we cannot give a due date for the record to you, to our label, even to our own friends and families. we are working on the record and it is coming along. any dates mentioned in the future by anyone other than this here website can be written off as speculation and here-say, regardless of the source. thanks for reading and sorry for the confusion.
ps. as we approach the end of mixing, we will be posting snippets of songs here, as well as providing further information about the album and the true identity of bunny's "kidnappers".

Jessizzle 01-26-2007 06:45 AM

smokersdieyounger 01-26-2007 06:46 AM

Henrik 01-26-2007 11:05 AM

Catchthe22 02-28-2007 12:40 PM

so any word in the last month? Id say its looking at a June release now...

Henrik 03-03-2007 06:22 AM

I'd say that june is too soon. I mean they haven't even mentioned any possible date or month or anything.

Funny how they definitely said in AP is was coming out in January.

Oh well. Streetlight and BOTAR are both good, but neither put out new material frequently enough for me to really give two shits about. Keasby Nights is definitely one of the most overrated records ever. The streetlight re-release>>>>>>>>>c22.

smokersdieyounger 03-03-2007 01:37 PM

I got my streetlight manifesto record back, but not my girlfriend :(

That would be a great name for a record

I was thinking more along the lines of a power violence song (in the range of 25-30 seconds long). You should probably change Streetlight Manifesto to something a little more metal, too.
