Hey guys jst 2 say im new here and i think Blink ****in rule! They r my fave band i hav liked them since cheshire cat. I much prefer the old stuff, I dnt like the Untitled album as much, it sxtill rocks tho.

Its ****in gay about the whole Blink situation at the mo, its so unclear.

Im pretty sure the hiatus is something based around Tom tho.

Travis is a more technical drummer. Scott is faster.Travis changed the band into more of a pop-punk band.
IMO its hard to say who is better. Both have their strong points, both have their weak. Its a matter of opinon and music taste.

You think Scott is faster??? Travis is just as fast he can play all of Blink-182's old stuff... and as far as im concerned Mark and Tom make the songs and most of there newer songs won't fit to a fast beat...and u r correct..its just an opinion...

Scott put down typical punk beats, which fit perfectly with their songs. Travis has a more complicated style which therefore, changed them a bit musically.

whys that everyone i no says old blink 182 is better....... so they would be better cause they woulda stayed same style as old blink. or wouldnt have changed there style so much. like can u really imagine scott raynor playing the fallen interlude ,down, always songs like that??????? blink probably woulda still been the same little popo punk band from souther california with more old school songs like dammit ,josie, apple shampoo, wasting time

Everyone says that the old stuff is [I]better[/I], but it's not necessarily the style of music that would've propelled them to what they are today.

Why would it matter if they wouldnt have been as big if they still had Scott as the drummer?

i personally like Enima of the state, Take off your pants and jacket and Their last album better than Chesire cat, budda and dude ranch. I think travis brang a new style that changed them for the better.

I like a bit of both. I liked old Blink and new blink.

The reason Blink 182 has changed so much from Chesire Cat and Dude Ranch to their S/T is because they had matured, they grew up. If they had Scott still I think he wouldn't have adjusted to what Tom and Mark wanted. Putting Scotts face on top of Travis, I couldn't see Scott drumming these kind of slower songs compared to his really quick energetic songs like back in Dude Ranch. Travis can drum both energetic and slow. I think changing to Travis was probably their best decision as a band and I don't think they would have went as long with Scott as a drummer. They probably would have went another album or two then Scott would have probably dropped out and they would of went and found a really crap drummer and Blink would suck because they wouldn't have any music talent.

travis has made an album with transplants and its out, travis sed that blink are just takin a break and will get bak 2gether and make another album in january 2006

I dunno if they are gonna, itd be nice if they did.
