In Keeping Secrets isnt bad, i just dont think its as good as the others. But it does have the crowing on it, which is probably my favorite CoCa song.

Angry Balled Fists! 10-22-2005 02:34 PM

It has The Velorium Camper which has 3 amazing songs, The light and the glass, Three evis and IKSOSE3 (of course)

As well as the bonus track and every other song on the album.

The Musician 10-22-2005 02:35 PM

I like them all. :) Coheed is the most major influence on my playing.

The only part on backend of forever i really liked was the end with the 'what i thought of you' in the background.

CombatWombat3 10-22-2005 10:15 PM

IMO, Al the Killer is the best out of the trio, it's so powerful. Personally, I like IKSSE better, it's just so clean, and I can listen through the entire thing so well. Plus, it's easier to drum to than SSTB, you can ust kinda kick back and play along.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-23-2005 12:55 AM
Pretty sure its Coheed and Cambria, but I could be wrong.
I think its Claudio and Newo. Its looks too young to be Coheed and Cambria.

cobert 10-23-2005 05:37 PM
I think its Claudio and Newo. Its looks too young to be Coheed and Cambria.
Yeah, but claudio and newo weren't really major characters in sstb. And Coheed and cambria are Robots, i dont know exactly how aging goes with those sorts of things.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-23-2005 05:39 PM

Well it is hard to say who it is....it really doesn't matter though haha....

cobert 10-23-2005 05:48 PM

Yeah, i guess so, it doesnt really have an effect on anything with the story.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-23-2005 05:49 PM

Ooo btw your avatar is really tight I love that picture of them there all like AHH, that used to be my background....

cobert 10-23-2005 05:52 PM

Yeah, im pretty sure it was originally from some magazine interview with them (i think it was AP). And Mike (Hey, you're not cory!) used to have it as his avatar a real long time ago, but it flashed to each one of their faces.

hey, you're not cory! 10-23-2005 06:57 PM

Wow, Cobert, are you back for good now?

And, I think I already said that, but those pictures in SunnyDayRealEstate's avatar could be a younger Coheed and Cambria showing them before the time period of Second Stage Turbine Blade when they were young and before Josephine and the rest of the kids were born. Thats what I always thought it was, anyways.

cobert 10-23-2005 07:11 PM
Wow, Cobert, are you back for good now?
Pretty much, except i should be switching computers and i need to get onine put on the next one, so i should be gone for about a week at the end of this month/beginning of november. Other than that, Im back.

hey, you're not cory! 10-23-2005 07:13 PM

Sounds good. I missed you so.

cobert 10-23-2005 07:18 PM

I missed pretty much everyone on MX. Then i come back, and all of the sudden some depthsofdreams guy topped me in posts in this thread. That guys a dick. ( :p )

CombatWombat3 10-24-2005 08:16 PM

hahaha, welcome back big guy.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-24-2005 08:31 PM

Oooooo ya makin fun of me.....thats a good idea about the younger Coheed and Cambria.

EDIT: I might get lucky and get to go see Coheed again they are playing another show in Chicago in December.

DJ Ducksauce 10-24-2005 08:51 PM

Man, there was a Co&Ca show at Austin that I could have gone to... :upset: I wanted to go so bad.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-24-2005 08:53 PM

Why didn't you go?

DJ Ducksauce 10-24-2005 08:54 PM

I have school, and my parents wouldn't have let me go anyways.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-24-2005 08:58 PM

That sucks big time, ya this concert would be on a Sunday, last time I saw Coheed it was on a Saturday it just always seems to work out nice.

cobert 10-25-2005 03:52 PM

My coheed show was on a thursday.

Mute Print 10-25-2005 03:59 PM

I'm seeing them a week from Friday. I can't wait.

DJ Ducksauce 10-25-2005 08:21 PM

You guys suck. I'm jealous. Can't wait till I can drive myself up there.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-25-2005 08:23 PM

I really don't care what day of the week it is if I have a chance to go see Coheed I am going.....thats it.

Sound Boy 10-25-2005 08:57 PM

The Willing Wells owns the Velorium Campers

although they both kick serious tush

Holyed 10-26-2005 04:46 AM

Just brought my ticket for a show in london in december, can't bloody wait. Have spent two months with coheed as my favourite band by a long way, just a band i have yet to find something i don't like about them.

Angry Balled Fists! 10-26-2005 05:58 AM

I'm gonna see them if they play somewhere more up north.

Nottingham would be perfect.

Actually, Grimsby would be perfect but you know :p

DepthsOfDreams555 10-26-2005 06:11 AM

Ya I know haha.

TMA 10-26-2005 10:39 AM

Alright, right about now is when I take the time to once again promote Coheed's brother band "3".
3 is fronted by Joey Eppard (yes, Josh Eppard's brother). He is an amazing guitarist. I'd say that he owns Claudio's *ss, but it's a completely different style.
So please, if you get the chance, check them out on purevolume at http://www.purevolume.com/3, and above all, check out the song Bramfatura (the pv page only has a live version, I think). Dregs is also a great song by them, and a classic by them (I almost want to say it was the first song they wrote... but I don't know that for sure).
Happy listenings! :thumb:

Bad Blood 10-26-2005 02:22 PM

I can't stop listening to Coheed right now. I love them!

I will listen to them, last year when my friend saw them when the opened for Coheed he said they were garbage but I will listen to em.

hey, you're not cory! 10-26-2005 04:31 PM

I like them a lot. I'm tempted to buy their cd.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-26-2005 07:14 PM

I'm still not over the show I witnessed on the 16th. So amazing.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-26-2005 07:17 PM

Nice, nice...I know they are incredible....

Gnarmageddon 10-26-2005 07:48 PM

So I just listened to the Delerium Trigger EP. Better Than Evil surprised me, as I wasn't expecting it at all. The early versions of Delerium Trigger and 33 are better than the finished ones, in my opinion. The acoustic Junesong Provision is good too.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-26-2005 07:49 PM

Ya that is on the re-release of SSTB.

DJ Ducksauce 10-26-2005 07:51 PM

Better than Evil reminds me of old school video game music.

Gnarmageddon 10-26-2005 07:51 PM
Ya that is on the re-release of SSTB.
What is?

Justin: Me too.

DepthsOfDreams555 10-26-2005 07:51 PM

The Junesong Provision acoustic..
