huh?
|
Today sucked monkey balls. The wife is pissed at me 'cause I bit her head off yesterday, my 401k is pissing me off, people at work are getting on my nerves, I'm broke as fuck, I'm tired...ugh. I have some major bills right now. Between my wife's prenatal visits and my own doctors visits for headaches and my arm, I've got a ton of medical bills because my insurance is a fucking joke. It's gotten to the point that I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (not that it did any fucking good, but it made me feel better for a little while). On top of the medical bills, I took a total of 6 weeks off my second job because my main job sent me to Houston...twice. So I'm broke because of that. And when I got my new guitar last year I did the whole "Same as cash, no payments or interest for 18 months" figuring I'd have no problem paying it off before then. Well....shit came up and I didn't get that paid off. Now the 18 months is going to be up in December so if I don't get it paid between now and then I'll have another almost $500 worth of interest tacked on. Also, my car has no fan. In the summer it was no big deal. I just rolled the windows down. But now it's starting to get cold. Riding in a car that has no heat when it's only like 30° outside just isn't that fun and it's only going to get worse as it gets colder. And having a 3 year old, plus 1 on the way next month...I just can't have a car with no heat. So yesterday I call my financial company that takes care of my 401k. I wanted to do a withdrawl and pay off the guitar and fix my car and then keep a little bit to have for xmas and what not. But NO! Because of the way my company set it up, I can't touch it until I'm 59 years old! The only way I can do a withdrawl before then is for a "hardship". So basically, my mortgage company has to be foreclosing on my house for me to get money from my 401k. Unless I want to borrow against my 401k. So I'm pissed that I can't do a withdrawl from my own money. Ok...so I'm thinking about borrowing against my 401k. I get online and I'm looking around at different funds and what not, and I go to the "Plan rules" and look for info regarding borrowing against my 401k. Turns out, that any money I borrow from my 401k has to paid back. Not too big of a deal, since it would be taken out of my paycheck and I'd never know the difference. Except...the financial company charges a $40 fee for me to borrow against MY OWN 401k. And they charge 5.75% interest!!!!! I have to pay them for me to get my OWN FUCKING MONEY!!!!! ARGH!!! I don't think I've ever been this frustrated/depressed/pissed about a money situation before!!! Goodbye all...I'm moving to a remote location in the mountains. No job, no neighbors, no money...just me and my bomb making. Er...I mean me and my moonshine.

Can you get a line of credit from the bank? Pay off those expenses...
|
Wow, Legions, that sucks majorly.
Move to Belgium, we handle these money things much better. |
Yeah, if I get in too much trouble with the law/have bad finances in a few years, I'm moving to Italy to lead the simple life. Let the banks sort out my money problems.

Haha...don't peg them off as an 80's band, they're actually good.
|
Don't peg them off as a good band, they're actually bad :p
j/k I don't like them though. |
I was at the mall before hand and bought two things as well
The Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks ($7.99) and a Jeff Buckley DVD |
I ordered a David Gilmour DVD and Animals on Friday, should be here any day now.
|
I was looking at that gilmour DVD, I almost grabbed it. I was in a toss up between the Buckley one and a Dream Theater one, but I'm going though this whole songwriting phase right now and I thought Buckley would help.

Sometimes the store had some great deals.
Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley for $5.99 Canadian...I had to grab it. I wanted to get the Trainspotting soundtrack too...but $17.99... |

Smart child :thumb: I just ordered a moe. shirt. |
simple solution to retards:
"This message is hidden because Grave Base is on your ignore list " It is awesome, because the CD shop im go to is going out of business. They are selling their used CDs for half price, so I got all 5 Phish CDs for $20. I also plan on buying a Death Angel CD from the place for $2.50, that is if they find the CD for it. They are also selling band shirts for $5, too bad most of the bands they have are gay. |
Dude that's awesome except for the gay band t-shirts part. I wish I could get some of those deals...most of the places I go offer nothing but complete rip offs.
|
I just spilt coke on my keyboard. Fuck!!!!
|
hahahahaah
I was just thinking about getting a drink but I'm getting over writers block and don't want to move. |
Are you writing lyrics or just messing around on the guitar?
|
I have been slacking off on playing guitar lately, I need more discipline(sp?).
|
Speaking of lyrics...Cipher owes me a crit *nudge nudge* :p
|
Oh yeah that's right! I'll get on it *head to the S & L forum*

Coming home from uni today, I was going through a 60 zone, and I looked in my rearview mirror and saw this car coming up at 80 behind me. The guy is some old bloke who has got his steering wheel in a death grip, and I'm guessing he had failing eyesight because he was hunched over with his face nearly pressed against the glass.
Due to his failing eyesight, he came up right behind me and starting tailgating me until we passed into an 80 zone. I sped up, and he accelerated a bit more slowly, so a gap appeared again. No sooner than the gap was 20 metres, he sped up again and tore right up my arse again, leaving maybe a metre between us. He flashed his lights at me, and beeped his horn, but being the extremely calm person I am, I simply ignored him, then gave the arsehole the finger. So he decided to try and overtake me... on a single lane highway mind you,and over a bridge! Inevitably, he is right next to me, and of course traffic begins to come the other way. So he decides that the normal rules of the space-time continuum don't apply to senior citizens, and decides to merge his car, into mine! I have had about enough of this, so I beep my horn, floor it, and get out of his way. I then slow down to the speed limit again, and check my mirror to see what Captain Retarded is doing. I can see that he is slowing getting further away, and so I figure he finally got the hint and is slowing down. But then I notice he is fiddling with something in his lap or on the dash, whilst doing 80 down a highway. I figure he probably popped his hip trying to combine our cars or something. He started doing S-curves along the road, and then noticed he was about to hit a light pole, and turned down a side-street. Hopefully he had a fatal accident that didn't harm anyone else in anyway. Stupid geriatric. It really pisses me off that these old farts can drive without getting any testing or reprimands from cops, but driving the speed limit in my car, and I get pulled over for breath testing, just because I'm under the age of 30. |

Actually working on my book, which has been dormant for weeks. I have lots of things to say in it but I suck on plot. |
Story of a teenager's life...except I speed so I can't say my life :p...

Writing songs is easier than writing a book imo...props to you :thumb: |
Old People around here drive super slow, and dont know what the hell is going on around them.

Really? What's the book about? I tried writing a novel once but I never got around to finishing it (always on the go). I'm impressed that you're dedicated enough to try and stick with it. |
Thanks.
Songs...I have a few (lyrics, that is). I'm really bad on the guitar. I can get a couple of chord changes down, but then I fold. I write a bit of poetry. Tin Soldier (a paranoidd poem) he destroyed something beautiful today a simple act he then calmly walked away there was no speech, no melodramatic cliche he destroyed someone beautiful today they manipulated his mind and stripped him to the core his pain was evident by the twisted look he wore a slave is not a drone because a man is so much more they were not satisfied until the bodies hit the floor he destroyed something beautiful today a severed touch and he drifted further away he does not feel remorse for the past, they'd say they destroyed someone beautiful today |
Wow. That is some haunting imagery, if you know what I mean.
|
Yeah that is very good. It's got a nice flow and the wording is awesome. So when are you gonna update your blog? I need to get my fill of Paranoidd's random ramblings or I'll go on a baby killing rampage!

It's basically about one guy, and the character is loosely based on myself which makes it easier to write about but also harder because I have to be very self-analytical and see my own flaws...it's stressful and difficult to identify and to write about all the things wrong with me. It's a learning experience. Basically the character doesn't leave his apartment except in the middle of the night to meet is only friend, a girl who loves, who is a complete hallucination. He has extreme xenophoba (fear of strangers) and a bunch of other problems. Alot of the book is really me ranting about my own beliefs and philosophy, and before everyone starts crying "fight club rip off!" I will honestly say that although that book (and other books by the same author) were a big influence on me, my book is completely different, and I'm very concious to avoid similarities. Basically it's based on the placebo effect. My character manufactures sugar pills and sells them as real medication on the internet, for exorbant prices, and has a ton of money and nothing to do with it. Theres more stuff here and there but I'm trying to work a plot, which I suck at. |
As for updating my blog, the past couple weeks have been stressful to say the least, and I need to be in an angry/playful mood to write in there. Normally something bad/funny will happen to me, but lately it's been just strictly BAD.
