They're neither, haha. Just a fun and catchy punk band. I just got into them, my friend and his dad love them though.

Liebensaft 01-18-2006 05:19 PM

I might have to check them out in that case.

clustifux 01-18-2006 11:54 PM

mouth sewin shut is awesome. If toxic was added to that set it would be a dope as fuk show.

Subvert_bassist 01-18-2006 11:59 PM
Sweet, my band is playing with Electric Frankenstein, Resistant Culture, Mouth Sewn Shut(members of Toxic Narcotic), and BSOM March 3rd.
Sweet. Resistant Culture is siiiiick.

My band is playing with BORN/DEAD and Deadfall next month. That should be sick, too.

Whoa, playing with BORN/DEAD would be awesome. Good luck with that man. :)

Subvert_bassist 01-19-2006 10:05 AM

We probably will be more than this one time, because we're close enough to each other that we can travel to play shows, and we're kinda friends with them. They're cool; the biggest stoners you'll ever meet, though.

When my friend told me about the show, he said Toxic Narcotic was the band. Then the next day he said he found out it was Mouth Sewn Shut. Still a sweet show, I just never heard them.

Hagbard Celine 01-19-2006 08:16 PM

Flagjacket 01-19-2006 08:23 PM
Electric Frankenstein are legendary, theyve been around since the 80s. Their artist is making horror posters for the show too, I can't wait.
I'm gonna off-the-bat recommend Feareth the Lord, and Her Nakedness for tracks.

If ya dig it, grab "I'm Nailed Right In". If not, don't worry about it.

Feel The Darkness 01-19-2006 08:48 PM

I got I'm Nailed Right In for those who wanna check it out. Jesus Chrust are good for what they do.

Feel The Darkness 01-20-2006 09:10 AM

NewKindofArmy03 01-20-2006 05:01 PM

I thought it was 'Resisting American Business Operations.' I thought I read that somewhere, but don't quote me on it. I've also heard Revolution Anarchy Most Bike Overthrow

RAMBO/Municipal Waste/Caustic Christ/FOD next week!

clustifux 01-20-2006 05:07 PM

i loathe you as of right now.

There better be a good show comming up soon around here or im gonna flip out.

NewKindofArmy03 01-20-2006 05:12 PM

I'm lucky I live in Philly. Some other sweet grind/crust shows coming up are Anal C'unt, Disfear/Phobia, and Unholy Grave/Yacaopse(sp?)/Magrudergrind

Feel The Darkness 01-20-2006 05:51 PM

Man, I don't even know what their name means. Someone should ask the band...someone who's gonna see them soon...perhaps someone in Philly...hahaha

I just said! Haha, but I also read they picked the name because a friend reccomended it and they thought it was funny because Stalone is from here and Rambo was a patriotic figure. My guess is they just made up the acronyms later.

And yes, FOD are great. They've been tearing it up since '82.

Gnarmageddon 01-20-2006 08:04 PM

Good bands need to play here. I get jealous of you guys talking about sweet shows you're going to.

I just saw Municipal Waste at the Gilman, they got banned. Caustic Christ was ok, not a lot of energy.

I saw yer post, I meant for ye to ask the band and CONFIRM the meaning of the name.

NewKindofArmy03 01-20-2006 08:21 PM

Yeah, i've seen Caustic Christ before, I wasn't into them. I'm not big on their actual albums either though.

Municipal Waste on the other hand, 2nd funnest band i've seen, next to RAMBO. So this show will be amazing.
