really though, i cant believe you guys are taking this so seriously. at the show i went to, dude would not stfu about lame generic "pits are bigger in houston" bullshit so after yet another extended interval between songs i yelled "stfu and play" and he said "yeah thats a good idea". its not like i challenged him and we fought in the alley after the show.

im not taking it seriously, just think it's kind of lame to be bragging about how you 'pissed off the singer' of the red chord, when, from the sounds of it, he probably didn't care.

well obvi****inously bro. band sucked so bad nobody was moving. converge didnt have to say a single word about "pit was bigger in x city" or "ok i wanna see the biggest ****in pit ever on this song". they did what theyre supposed to, kept talking to a minimum unless it was something cool or funny and just played amazingly.

idk they're all really cool guys even if you don't like their music. The interview with Guy where he spends almost the entire time making fun of Suicide Silence is great and Greg Weeks is frequently hilarious. Gunface is awesome and both of his bands rule. Have you heard Beyond the Sixth Seal?

well the bassist didnt say a word, the only person who did any talking was the singer, and like i said it was all just the generic pit talk and saying how much they love your city. so idk what they might usually be like, they opened at this show and had a short set, but they sucked at this one.

yeah i skimmed through the interview and watched a few minutes of the undercover thing. i still think the singer is lifeless. undercover thing was pretty funny, theres so much more potential for that scenario though.

Never been to a Red Chord show but overall they seem like pretty entertaining guys and I would have no problem with their banter, witty or otherwise.

Yeah it was like that with the Ottobar in baltimore for years, but now we have Rams Head and Sonar, so its much better now.

See we used to have a bunch of good stuff but then one dude came in and bought up a bunch of venues and clubs and completely mismanaged them and now there is nothing. So now the HoB gets pretty much everything, as well a smattering of other mismanaged clubs.

Believe me, Cleveland is the birthplace of rock and roll, but we sure know how to kill it.
