Girls are as straight forward as guys except guys are stupid.

One of them I have been to dinner several times with. Sometimes I feel like she thinks of me as more than a friend, sometimes I feel smack dab in the middle of friend zone :/

Girls like being shown a good time so you should do that, but when you do it, you have to make it clear it's on a more than friends basis otherwise they will assume you're just a nice guy they can exploit when in fact you are trying to buy your way into their pants and it is important they understand this because girls love attention, but especially when it is free to them.
