Clutch rule i dont know what youre talking about. one of the best hard rock bands ever. Maylene are fun live too. id go to that one because Obscura sucks the most

xMalcolmXx 04-21-2009 01:32 PM

i want to see GoV real bad because i don't think many people will be there, but clutch and maylene both rule pretty hard and 2 > 1

hismajestythepope 04-21-2009 01:52 PM

I'd personally see Maylene beccause I always miss them and Dallas Taylor is the ****ing man (and I've seen GOV already). For you I'd say catch GOV because they're not that big and don't have enough money to tour often, while Maylene and Clutch are both pretty well established, you know?

The Feeding 04-21-2009 01:56 PM

clutch are mad elite

hismajestythepope 04-21-2009 01:56 PM

Clutch is okay.

The Feeding 04-21-2009 01:57 PM

they are one of the tightest live bands i have ever seen in my life

xMalcolmXx 04-21-2009 02:15 PM

i'm going to try to catch both somehow (maylene and clutch = may 6th, GoV = may 7th in the same venue that's out of town), but yeah...definitely want to support GoV and maybe get a shirt, but i've heard maylene and clutch are both baller live so idk. decisions decisions...

botb 04-21-2009 02:20 PM
yea you'll eventually grow out of deathcore i guess, i exclusively listened to metalcore and poopty melodic death metal once
please don't grow out of it anytime soon, you're my favorite new poster because you are as unelite as me

hismajestythepope 04-21-2009 02:33 PM

Catch both if you can, damn. That's a pretty harsh situation regardless.

The Feeding 04-21-2009 03:34 PM

it would be a sick show, not gonna lie

yes! saw them live when they toured with Coheed and The Fall of Troy. so good! Fallon is amazing live.

been listening to Hand To Hand's new album "Design The End Follow The Horizon" lately. pretty decent metalcore/post-hardcore band. a bit on the generic side but i like the vocals

pretty catchy stuff imo...

jrowa001 04-21-2009 09:35 PM

yeah i found it really catchy and some decent guitarwork a few times

botb 04-21-2009 09:38 PM

been listening to For The Fallen Dreams. so generic but really catchy.

jrowa001 04-21-2009 09:40 PM

its weird how i can like one generic catchy band but not like another because i dont like For the Fallen Dreams. i think its their vocals, very bland

hismajestythepope 04-21-2009 09:41 PM

Can't dig them idk.

The guy has a good scream, though. One-note, but it's a good note.

They're one of those "Above average generic bands that you don't seek out but don't turn off if they happen to be on" kind of bands for me. They inject melody into metalcore fairly well, and they have a decent ambiance.

botb 04-21-2009 09:47 PM

yeah i've been listening to really melodic stuff recently so I think that's why I've been listening to them.

Dude, he's awful.

jrowa001 04-21-2009 10:37 PM

yeah the vocals killed it for me

botb 04-21-2009 10:40 PM
Worhtwhile checking out srs??
you'd probably dig it because you like a lot of the core stuff i do.
