In the very early stages of the writing process, apparently Maynard was going to try a very different vocal style that include just saying parts or syllables of words. For the most part though, that idea has been scrapped.

I vote for just, plainly, Tool. Great name. I don't like the Rock & Metal's Tool Thread thing, it's too long.

Noway were starting fresh... the amount of information in this thread is unmatched, and throwing it away is just plain stupid.

Thread With a Peni[size=2]s[/size] wouldn't work, because you can't put tags into thread titles, so it would look like "Thread with a *****." I like Forty Six & Tool though. :-D

Oh, and on starting a new thread- I would have to start fresh on my 1,000 posts in this thread. :(
