They're unbelievably tight live too. Awesome band.

EDIT: Directed at Arusha Accord discussion.

Everyone knows BMTH sucks live.

Dimmu Burger 09-29-2009 11:53 AM

I'll be finding out next week.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 11:54 AM

Do any of you guys know if Sam Carter smokes dank? Cause me and my buddy Al are trying to blaze with him if he does.

HighandDriving 09-29-2009 12:02 PM

Just lol'd imagining you trying to track down Sam to smoke with him, he prob wants to chill with cool bros or skanks

You should write on his myspace wall that you'll be looking for him with chron.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 12:04 PM

Not really lolzy. Bands park their vans in the ally right next to the entrance to the venue and generally just chill outside by the stairs after their sets, this is how I've chilled with KOTA, As Cities Burn, Emmure, and Veil Of Maya.

Funny story about this venue, Knights Of The Abyss = anti-semetic jokes everywhere.

They were doing a train thing to help Andy bring his drums up the stairs after their set, and I offered a hand, and Mike was just like, "thanks dude, but we do our own Jew work."

HighandDriving 09-29-2009 12:08 PM

Ya but Architects actually have talent and are dec looking, Sam would be chasing poon.

Think about what you would do if you were actually dec looking, in a popular band, and in shape.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 12:10 PM

Well for one thing, your opinion on guys looks really does matter to me, but girls usually think I'm cute: I'm tall, pretty burly, and have a good sense of humor.

Also, I'm sure the dudes would be down to smoke a few bowls and chill a little after the show, cause like, they're people, social animals.

Tyler 09-29-2009 12:12 PM

HighandDrviving stop being such a dick.

HighandDriving 09-29-2009 12:13 PM

hahahah, yes.

Ya but Architects have Keith from ETID to hang out with.

@Coke- I'm just joshing him alil.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 12:16 PM
HighandDrviving stop being such a dick.
It's painfully obvious at this point that the kid is a social retard, haha.

HighandDriving 09-29-2009 12:29 PM

Don't give up yet, I was enjoying our convo.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 12:31 PM

Dude, I'm gonna fight you.

I've been wandering hard lately, my legs are so sore.

/ADB

HighandDriving 09-29-2009 12:35 PM

No more fighting, recently I got into a brawl after the bar one day in Guelph and remembered how much I hate getting punched in my beautiful face.

Seriously my nose is still a lil crooked from a fight in High School.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 12:37 PM

I have a rather large bump on my nose due to getting attacked by a Slipknot-fag in the pit at a Suffocation show, and accidentally headbutted in the face by a very drunk Anthony Gunnells in the same week.

2muchket! 09-29-2009 12:39 PM

From speaking to them briefly after some of their shows all of architects are into weed. Sam especially.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 12:42 PM

Excellent!

2muchket! 09-29-2009 01:16 PM

A lot of Hollow Crown's lyrics are apparently about his experiences with weed and how it was affecting him. Well atleast thats what he's said in numerous interviews.

HighandDriving 09-29-2009 01:21 PM

He's in pretty good shape for a pot head then.

RetiredAt21 09-29-2009 02:54 PM

Way beyond.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 02:54 PM

Didn't people realize that ripping off Meshuggah turns out to fail in almost every ****ing case when Mnemic came around?

Si1v3RfaNg 09-29-2009 02:55 PM
Didn't people realize that ripping off Meshuggah turns out to fail in almost every ****ing case when Mnemic came around?
Only Meshuggah can do that style successfully... because their ridiculous musicians.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 02:56 PM

They're*:)

And Veil Of Maya do it well, because they do it for breakdowns, not entire ****ing songs.

RetiredAt21 09-29-2009 02:57 PM

I can't stand Meshuggah.

Si1v3RfaNg 09-29-2009 02:57 PM

Yeah I like the first four songs off of Common Man's Collapse... but besides that I don't like them too much.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 02:57 PM

All Things Set Aside is superior, but I love all of The Common Man's Collapse, though the second half took a bit of listening to grow on me.
I can't stand Meshuggah.
I used to like them, but yeah.

Txus 09-29-2009 02:59 PM

Cloudkicker does it better than Meshuggah, stfu.

RetiredAt21 09-29-2009 02:59 PM

LOOOOOOOOOOOL Cloudkicker, awesome name.

I never bothered to listen to ATSA... guess I should give it a listen.

Txus 09-29-2009 03:02 PM

Cloudkicker rules, it's basically Meshuggah gone instrumental

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 03:03 PM

Do they have anything other than chugs?

Si1v3RfaNg 09-29-2009 03:04 PM
Cloudkicker rules, it's basically Meshuggah gone instrumental
Meshuggah has an awesome vocalist though... listen to the beginning of I.

witchxrapist 09-29-2009 03:04 PM

 Kyle... everybody and their mother's heard I.
