Whoring my post, it's the second one down. Feel free to check it out.

RCA 07-28-2005 05:52 PM

I didn't know Iron Maiden covered "Women In Uniform"!

Endless Obsession 07-28-2005 05:59 PM
Probably the most underatted vocalist in RnM
No his voice is awful. Hes probobly the main reason I dont listen to them. He butchered Master of Puppets.

RCA 07-28-2005 06:53 PM

At least he butchered that song and not Creeping Death or Metal Militia. Master Of Puppets just doesn't do anything for me.

Blasphemy! That's a classic, man!

Nobody seems to cover anything off of Kill Em All. And if they do, it's just the obvious ones, like Seek and Destroy or No Remorse.

RCA 07-28-2005 07:21 PM

Motorhead covered Whiplash, and I like it better than Metallica's version. There's more balls in that version.

Shred Danson 07-28-2005 07:22 PM

Yeah, but Motorhead puts more balls into anything they do than anyone else.

Moses 07-28-2005 07:23 PM

Lemmy licks um too....

He's supposedly bi.

He's not. Blabbermouth lied again.

I wan't to cover Jump In The Fire but I'm still learning it.
He's not. Blabbermouth lied again.
That would have been weird.

Lemmy \m/ (><) \m/

Also I finally got Lateralus vox done. It's in the Tool thread.

RCA 07-28-2005 07:31 PM

Yeah, Lemmy is too err..."Lemmy-like" to be bi.

Only Rob Halford is allowed to be gay.

Moses 07-28-2005 07:32 PM

I thought Rob was bi....?

He's awesome anyway.

Lunch 07-28-2005 07:33 PM
Only Rob Halford is allowed to be gay.
And Freddie Mercury.

Moses 07-28-2005 07:35 PM

Freddie isn't sexually active anymore.

EDIT:unless you're talking about Rock Star Heaven.

RCA 07-28-2005 07:42 PM
And Freddie Mercury.
I was talking more on a metal standpoint, but Freddie is cool too. :thumb:

jpj 07-28-2005 07:58 PM

I don't know how you couldn't know Halford was gay even before he came out. On the Live Aid DVD they're playing Living After Midnight, Rob has his S&M gear on, and looks like he's going down the catwalk.

Seriously.

Moses 07-28-2005 08:01 PM

I'm a model you know what I mean
And I do my little thing down the catwalk

The catwalk yeah the catwalk.

Sorry that just reminded me of that song.

They covered Fade to Black, though, not MoP.

Dream Theater covered MoP (from what I remember), and Drowning Pool covered Crepping Death (back when Dave was, uh, alive).

Moses 07-28-2005 08:06 PM

I have a live vid of DT doing Sanitarium better than Metallica.

RCA 07-28-2005 08:10 PM

I have a live video of Razor playing "Enforcer".

/me wins

Moses 07-28-2005 08:13 PM

Ok well I have a live vid of a black dude in a karate uniform with nunchaku trying to do a back flip but busts his ****.

Haha, Rob talked about that in the quote I put in my Judas Priest FA. Also, there's all those stupid jokes involving "Point Of Entry" and "Ram It Down".

Illmatic 07-28-2005 09:36 PM

Hi everybody, I am back in Boston after a very good three-week vacation in Chicago.

I didn't actually plan anything while I was there, everything that happened just happened, which is how I wanted it to be.

I stayed with one of my mom's sisters and her family (husband and four kids; one of them is 25 and has moved out, the other three are a son who is 21 and two daughters who are 20 and 17)

One thing that bugs me is how my youngest cousin's (the 17 year old) boyfriend treats her, but I dunno I guess I'm overreacting.

Arucard 07-28-2005 09:37 PM

Right, 4:30 a.m. This is not good, my days really are upside down. On the brightside, i got hit on by two people in one night, and for once i gave them my number instead of the opposite way round.

Score.

Goodnight.

OMG!!!!!!!! 1000th PAGE OF TEH THRED!!!!1!. And I had the first post of it!!!!!!!!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Shred Danson 07-28-2005 09:45 PM

Wow, 1,000 pages.

RNR: Preach it, brother!

Sup, Ray.
How does he treat her? Like a secks slave? :naughty:
Well, uh, no. He's just a dick.

I mean, I like him, he's a cool guy, but he's just a jerk to her. I didn't say anything because I don't think it's really my place to say anything.

who are you? People who change their names to the first letters of each word in their old name are annoying.

yes, i'm aware of the irony.

Arucard 07-28-2005 09:48 PM

You should have, i knocked my brothers mate back into line when he started taking his girlfriend for a total ride and going with other girls. I think its pathetic when a guy can't respect a girl in a relationship.

Well, I don't know the whole story, I don't see them together all the time...they've been together for almost three years so he must not be like that all the time. I just worried, though.

When its been going on for ages, guys in general seem to think they can get away with anything.

Well, my point was that he must not be like that all the time for her to be with him for this long, but I guess the next time I see it happen I should say something.
