Jeez.. I've never seen a cymbal around here for that cheap, like.. ever.. I was hoping to get 200$ for it

Vannaroth 05-21-2008 02:39 PM

double post

Vannaroth 05-21-2008 02:43 PM

$146.57 CAD for a 16" Zildjian A? That's like cheaper than a ZHT over here. I am so moving to Canada after university. But not Quebec, they're all French and say 'Chalice' a lot.

Yes I am willing to move country for cheaper cymbals.

Win A Rabbit 05-21-2008 03:01 PM

that's pretty cool.

But wouldn't the curvature of the Earth provide some issues?

Janeway 05-21-2008 03:51 PM

Berk 05-21-2008 04:09 PM

I skipped gym today because I was like 20 minutes late, It was like 6 degrees outside and raining. My gay teacher wanted us to play frisbee. So I was like "yeah **** that im going to the library". And yeah, now hes all pissed that I skipped and blah blah blah.

God forbid you just do what's expected of you. Then maybe peeps wouldn't be so angry with you all the time.

Berk 05-21-2008 05:03 PM

god damnit i dont want to play frisbee in the rain.

i need some math help.

I have 8y=1-3x, and i need to solve for y in terms of x.
do i leave it? or what do I do?

Seafroggys 05-21-2008 05:10 PM
It's a video feed, dude.
Okay I read telescope and thought "wait, that can't make sense." I mean, if it was a straight line, I'm sure its more than possible, optics technology is improving rapidally.

But video feed makes more sense.

iamjoe2 05-21-2008 05:28 PM

8y=1-3x

y=1-3x
.....8

Berk 05-21-2008 05:36 PM

what happens to the 8y?

iamjoe2 05-21-2008 05:39 PM

you divide both sides by 8 so 8y becomes y and 1-3x becomes
(1-3x)/8 (dont feel like writing fraction)

SgtPrimus 05-21-2008 05:52 PM
I've worked there for a year and a half. What's up?

Apparently you can't ask me for any information, as I don't have enough experience according to Chippy.
A little late, but the one near my house is hiring. Should I try and get a job there?

iamjoe2 05-21-2008 05:54 PM

so im trying to get a job at a recording studio, but aparently they all agreed to close at 5:00 so when i tryed to call NO ONE FRIGGIN AWNSERS!

Berk 05-21-2008 05:57 PM
you divide both sides by 8 so 8y becomes y and 1-3x becomes

would that be the answer?

iamjoe2 05-21-2008 06:03 PM

you wanted the solution for y right?

Berk 05-21-2008 06:08 PM

yeah.

lmldrummer 05-21-2008 06:22 PM
