Indeed. Crazy thing is they always make the episodes a week before they air.

WHAT!?

The show is amazing and if i didn't have to make it to my next class i would right a thesis on why it is.

dude, i was subjected to about 3-4 episodes of that series from beginning to end. I could EASILY argue the opposite :thumb:
I love Futurama too.

I don't really watch much TV, and 24 doesn't really appeal to me.
i actually have tv in my room now, but i never bother watching it, except for videos.

The classical guitarist, does he compose? Because if so then no I don't know his stuff. I've heard a few recording of his, but most of my classical guitar collection features Andres Segovia's playing.
/Futurama
I love Futurama. The only box set I need to still get is the seaon three one.

i don't buy series on dvd or anything like that. although i might get some for when i'm at uni, as i'm sure if i'm taking a tv or not.

I just check the shops that do dvd trade ins, that way I've been able to get seasons 1, 2 and 4 for £15 each. Good price for me, the alternative is downloaded episodes with crud quality.

NP: Prokofiev - Sonata No.3

They Cancelled Arrested Development!?
Bloody hell...that's the crappest decision since they cancelled Futurama.
Yeah man, isn't that terrible? Greatest show ever.

I can't think of any more. :(

Josh 04-12-2006 01:24 PM

mmm...beer.
discuss how if alcohol was only discovered this century, it would be illegal like most other drugs.

kurrpt 04-12-2006 01:31 PM

well, it was illegal in the 1920s....

but actually, the newer the drug, the more likely it is to be legal. Just look at morphine in the 1920s. You could order syringe kits in the sears catalog! (morphine included)

Hmm I wonder if there'll be a ban on drinking in public in the next 100 years.

Josh 04-12-2006 01:33 PM

it wouldn't really bother me all that much if drinking was made illegal, apart from the fact that i'd be out of a job.

kurrpt 04-12-2006 01:34 PM

well, if it was, it would just lead to more al capone-esque types bootlegging it and becoming huge king pins once again

Josh 04-12-2006 01:37 PM

true, true.
a certain Simpsons episode springs to mind...

Don't forget police corruption!

kurrpt 04-12-2006 01:40 PM

well, that will always be present....

but yes, they was a good bit of bribes going on there with that regard. I just saw a program on the history channel about that, so its pretty fresh in my mind

Josh 04-12-2006 01:42 PM

mmm...corruption.
i don't really know much about gangsters / that sort of thing though.

Lord Abortion 04-12-2006 01:47 PM

I hope for the good of the nation that I never get into a position of civil authority...I'd be so damn corrupt.
