He could learn to type. @ Jalel
What's wrong with my typing? Did I misspell something?

OH MY GOZZERS SOMEONE CALL THE GRAMMAR POLICE!!!!!

DuckinFutch8 01-24-2006 08:29 PM

I think he means that he could learn to use a computer, which would be a physically undemanding yet possibly still profitable profession...

but he could've just have been being a dick, idk...

jalel 01-24-2006 08:35 PM

Oh I see....thanks for clearing that up:thumb:

I feel bad now.....sorry faith+1.

I suppose he could learn to type and get a decent typing job. But, then he loses his disability checks, his meager retirement check, and retirement benefits (i.e. his health insurance through the comapny he used to work for). The company loved him and tried to give him as much as possible through an early retirement plan.
God, I feel awful for you guys.

I'm with Porkupine though, I've never had any real battles.

I've never had any real run-ins with death, cept my grandparents, who died when I was 4 and 6, the other two are still alive...

Never anything major with drugs or alcohol... Never done them cept a little alcohol...

Never had any true romantic loves...

never had any serious diseases...

The worst "battle" I had to face was moving...

I feel like I'm very unprepared for things...

I know I'm lucky as hell though, but I've never really had to overcome anything large...
Yeh you are very lucky, last year my brother died in a car accident, two years ago my friends dad 9who I knew) committed suicide, in spetember this year my friend (from hockey) commited suicide, two years ago my grandmother died, and last year onne of my teachers died, yeh ,death sux

poppinfresh 01-24-2006 09:13 PM

yeah im the same a duckinfutch. except im starting to think that my great grandma died a long time ago since we havent gone to her house everytime we visit la, and that started happening ten years ago. The last memory i have of my great grandma was when i was walking behind her in the hospital and the back of that tunic hospital patients wear started opening up. and my bird died but my parents didnt tell me that either.

Panopticon 01-24-2006 09:30 PM

my bird died when i was little and my parents bought a new one before we found out. We finally found out a few years later...

I already apologized to you. That was kind of dumb of me to think you were flaming me but I was doing calculus homework at the same time so I was a bit distracted. Again, I'm sorry.

styler 01-24-2006 09:48 PM

crazyguy832 01-24-2006 09:52 PM
Hardly. He's known as the depressing one. He died a sad man, from insanity, given to him by the only women he ever had sex with. Wich was paid for by his friends who felt sorry for him having never been with a women.

No wonder his writings are so dark and depressing.

Study up a bit on his life, you'll find that while his writings are interesting, you can very quickly find where and why they are so dark. His life was dark and depressing, he had few friends, was a social outcast.

Swing your view, study the writings of, for instance, Marcus Aurelius.
Given Nietzsche was a little man who did nothign but write about his won dark feelings, wich one can learn from no doubt.
On the other hand, you have Marcus. One of the greatest rulers the earth has ever seen.

Such a drastic difference in their writings.
I know he doesn't, I was just jesting a bit. I was trying to make the point that good and evil are subjective (the end justifies teh means?).

I haven't done a lot of reading into philosophy, but I'll take a look into Aurelius. All I know is that first little chunk of The Antichrist is quite neat, imo.

poppinfresh 01-24-2006 10:16 PM

josiah, i havent gone back a page to see what you were talking about, but that reminds me a lot of some spanish poet we read about. dont remember his name but he lived a very similar life.

i bought 13th step because it was in a 2-for-1 deal with lateralus for cheaper than lateralus was by itself. i wouldn't say i love it, but it's definately better than i was expecting it to be.

Aaron 01-24-2006 11:29 PM

rockindrummer 01-24-2006 11:30 PM

Janeway 01-25-2006 12:28 AM

It's totally different from pr0n.

I feel so weird.
All my life I've never wanted children. I hated them. Honestly, I thought they were sacks of boiling fecies wrapped in cute candy coated outsides.
Now for the last like three months I've really been thinking a ton about getting married(if that's ever actually going to be possible) and having two children.
I hate it. It's driving me insane.
Everybody keeps telling me it's normal and it's really not helping, dammit.

Josiah 01-25-2006 01:31 AM

I got thrown around a lot tonight. I did my share of throwing as well.
