so hes guilty of ruining death metal and then making fun of it?
Basically.

And for the record, Carcass was just fine without him.

rattlehead42147 12-20-2008 12:37 PM

carcass' two best albums were released without him, so yeah. tbh carcass only sucked after he joined.

masscows 12-20-2008 12:38 PM

it's not like he contributed anything to carcass when he was in it so who cares

Angmar 12-20-2008 01:13 PM

yes?

Angmar 12-20-2008 04:49 PM

Symphonies IS my favorite album but I like the 2 that came after it as well. :upset:

hismajestythepope 12-20-2008 10:49 PM

its okay steve, i like count your blessings, and well, thats about the level those two are on.

McP3000 12-21-2008 03:23 AM

necroticism and heartwork are boring

hismajestythepope 12-21-2008 04:46 AM

necrotism is okay, heartwork is blandtacular

like blander than bring me the horizon

RetiredAt21 12-21-2008 08:52 AM

Not quite.

masscows 12-21-2008 09:10 AM

actually he's right, stuff i've heard from count your blessings is actually more engaging than heartwork rofl

RetiredAt21 12-21-2008 09:17 AM

Are you guys mistaking Heartwork for Swansong?

Stormrider 12-21-2008 09:24 AM

Heartwork is okay. I feel no need to ever listen to it again.

masscows 12-21-2008 09:28 AM
Are you guys mistaking Heartwork for Swansong?
nope

swansong is worse though

RetiredAt21 12-21-2008 09:35 AM

Swansong is awful. AWFUL. Heartwork is good but nothing special, though.

Txus 12-21-2008 09:38 AM

Heartwork is enjoyable, swansong is not.

RetiredAt21 12-21-2008 09:41 AM

Carnal Forge is the only song I can remember from Heartwork. Good song, though.

Angmar 12-21-2008 11:08 AM

Heartword is elite, haters can FOAD.

ILLIMINATOR 12-21-2008 11:13 AM
Heartword is elite, haters can FOAD.
heartword has the sickest riffs

Angmar 12-21-2008 11:26 AM

Only the illest.

rattlehead42147 12-21-2008 12:52 PM
necroticism and heartwork are boring
both albums had the potential to be good if they got rid of the melodic wankery and turned up the wet on the vocals. ie corporal jigsore quandary the song after it have great main riffs.
Heartwork is okay. I feel no need to ever listen to it again.
that about sums it up.

EdgeOfSanity 12-21-2008 01:24 PM

Don't know if this belongs here or not...but I've been digging me some melodic death here lately...bands like Dissection(duh!), Sacramentum, and Unanimated. Ancient God Of Evil by Unanimated is fecking awesome.

Moon Flavor 12-21-2008 01:42 PM

Hey guys what was the name of that band that everyone here masturbated over like a year or so ago? From what I remember they were kind of a Morbid Angel clone and they had the drummer with the fastest double bass ever or something?

I believe it started with an M and was a one word name what was it

FatalEnergy 12-21-2008 01:44 PM

I don't mind Necroticism, Heartwork, or even Swansong, but I never really listen to them.

I usually just come back to the first two albums and early bootlegs.

Mithras

as far as I remember they weren't a communal fap band though

its so much more energetic

shallow music, but fun when youre blazed and good for lifty

Dimmu Burger 12-21-2008 03:19 PM

So we played out show in Cumberland last night with Severed Head, who's drummer is also in Dying Fetus. I know not many folks on here are into Fetus, but it was cool as **** hanging out with him. He is a cool *** dude. Great drummer as well.

Angmar 12-21-2008 03:30 PM
its so much more energetic

so?

imperialblackness 12-21-2008 03:31 PM

Dying Fetus is probably the most talented band of all time

hismajestythepope 12-21-2008 03:31 PM
so?
thats one of the many reasons i enjoy it more

brain drill tries too hard, bring me the horizon doesnt try hard enough

adb 12-21-2008 04:13 PM

Brain Drill - ugly sobs

BMTH - adored by girls ages 12-21

which would you think had to try hard

Dimmu Burger 12-21-2008 04:29 PM

I prefer Brain Drill over BMTH.

Angmar 12-21-2008 04:32 PM

Both need to fuck off.
