I happen to like "Your Body is a Wonderland," I see nothing wrong with it. I'm not one of those closed-minded people who say "Oh that's pop/anything mainstream, it sucks."

I understand if you don't like John Mayer, everyone has their own tastes in music. But don't call his music abysmal, that's just downright ignorant. I was just defending him like anyone else on this site would defend an artist or band they admired.

Lets leave this argument be, John Mayer isn't even classic rock so it's kinda pointless to argue about him here.

Good albums :thumb: Especially [I]Fifth Dimension[/I], because I haven't ran into a pre Sweetheats of the Rodeo album that I completely liked, but now that's changed.

There's a big difference between cars and music. A car runs at high performance or low performance whether or not you like it. Music is 100% subjective. You're really reaching here.

The Byrds are great. I borrowed Fifth Dimension from a friend about a year ago, I'm not sure if I've returned it or not.

edit- I gotta go though. Feel free to start up that John Mayer thread, or just find an old one in Other Music, I think they've had some before.

I also find it interesting how The Byrds were so religious. They have many Chrisian related songs and various amounts of lyrical content reguarding the concept. Some more known songs would be...

Not very unknown. You'll usually find a song by each on any Psychedelic compilation.

I have heard of all of those bands except Kaleidiscope and Pretty Things.
