Honestly, their new ablum is mediocre at best. I liked their previous material, but not digging the new album aside from a couple of songs. I honestly gave it like 5 or 6 run throughs before I came to a final judgement of the album, but it just seems a bit sloppy and the lyrics are atrocious. I mean cmon "break every bone in your face if you mess with my life" how lame is that?

The world cant tear us apart is possibly one of the worst songs i have ever heard. And anthem is one of the most childish song i have ever heard. I love enter the dragon though. And the death metal song haha.

Just got back from the Trivium show tonight. They played a good setlist including a lot of covers. Breakin' the Law, Blink 182's Damnit, The Trooper, Seek and Destroy, and Master of puppets. Breakin' the Law vocal duties were handled by the Protest the Hero vocalist. It rocked. They sounded good.

The opening bands were all really impressive too.

So I had been listening to The Crusade for awhile...Yea, I like it a lot. Then I put in Ascendency today and I completely forgot how good that album was. Much better by comparison to The Crusade.

nahh probably To The Rats. And the reason for alot of their lyrics to be shytty is because paolaloalaolaoal or what ever the F*** is name is *bassest* wrote a couple of the songs. But there are subtle intricacies and notes in the guitar playing that makes the songs sound sloppy, but in no way does the crusade deserve the bashing that it is getting on this board. The talent it takes to write a song as anyone on the album is rediculous. And for them being as young as they are.. Plus in comparison to ascendancy there is a huge difference yes... but ascendancy is worse than the crusade talent wise.. Ascendancy uses rediculous amounts of octave chords for everytghing... it can get tideous if they are in every song...
and as to the guy who said this world cant tear us apart is the worst song that he has ever heard.. what do you base your oppinion on? Talent? because by using the word WORSE you are implying that you think oit took no talent to write the song and it was just sloppily thrown together.. in which case you are not correct in the slightest, and you shall forever be looked down upon as a durnbass
