I think it might be on MX under "George Harrison"
Actually there's a really good version on MX under Beatles, look under "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and then click the one on the top. Upside: Good version with all solos and such Downside: is 66 pages long, but that's because he copied and pasted the tab 3 times on accident. Second downside: Just one tab is 22 pages long. |
I found out the other day that Clapton plays lead guitar on "While my guitar gently weeps"..lol just when i thought Harrisson was among the greats of guitarists, i hear that. He's still pretty good though.
|
You didn't know that already? ..And yeah George Harrison is a good guitarist
|

I really love the slidey stuff he did in his early solo career and John Lennon's Imagine album Whats that... pedal steel guitar? Dobro? Something like that |

I thought I heard that Harrison wrote it, but he called Clapton in to play it on the album just for the hell of it. |
Harrison didn't think he could do the song justice (if I remember correctly) so he asked Clapton to play on it.
|
well really, who would you sooner call for a spectacular lead guitar part than Clapton? Probably no one.
|

Ya Harrisson definitely wrote it, and because of this many people think that the song isn't by the beatles. |
You'd be surprised at how many out there think the Beatles wrote Matchbox, Roll Over Beethoven, or Dizzy Miss Lizzy. But then again, the same people think Van Halen wrote 'Pretty Woman.' :D

And "You Really Got Me". |
I am really diggin' "You Really Got A Hold On Me" off of With/Meet the Beatles, its so...cute
|
I really dig "dig it" (bumpage)
|
I really dig "dig it" (bumpage)
I'm still trying to figure out what he says at the end. What I have is.... Can you dig it by Georgy Worgy, now we'd like to do All Things Must Come... |
WHats the difference between Let it Be and Let it be.. Naked?
|
I don't think there was that much of a difference.. But I own the Let it be.. Naked CD
|
i own both,.....
/goes gets cases for them..... diferences: Let it Be Song List: 1. Two of Us 2. Dig a Pony 3. Across the Universe 4. I me Mine 5. Dig it 6. Let it Be 7. Maggie Mae 8. I've got a Feeling 9. one After 909 10. The Long and Winding Road 11.For you Blue 12. Get Back Let it Be Naked songlist: 1. Get Back 2. Dig a Pony 3. For you Blue 4. The Long and Winding Road 5. Two of Us 6. I've got a feeling 7. One afer 909 8. Dont Let me Down 9. I me Mine 10. Across the Universe 11. Let it Be As you can see there are differences between the song lists, Also i think Naked is remastered seen it has a "fuller" sound then Let it Be which sounds tinny, Let it Be has the little intros by John and a bit of chat, Naked doesnt, Naked comes with a 2nd cd "Fly on the wall" which is just recording of the beatles discussing.. Thats all the differences that are obvious to me, |
Somethings i have noticed on fly on the walls:
If you look at the booklet on the last page it gives u a "programe" of Fly on the Wall, The song Child of Nature (24secs a brief snipet,) is the "Jelous Guy" song to be, some1 already menchioned it but there is a snipet of "Imagine to be" the fly on the wall cd indicates that one of the early takes of Dont Let me Down, became Sun King later, there is a snipet of All Things Must Pass, |
fly on the wall sounds quite interesting.
|
Yeah, i thought it was a pretty good addition to the new CD. Its good for all the hardcore beatles fans that need evvvvvvvvvvverything.

Speak of the devil, I just got The White Album out of the library the other day. Still working through it, but so far, so good.
Wild Honey Pie scares me....:upset: |
^^^Yes, it is a creepy song. Probably the weirdest song of them all (even mroe so then Revolution 9).
IMO the worst song on the album. |
"Revolution 9" is a strong point. (IMO)
