I should've, but oh well. I got my bass back...and protested against my parents...and got away from them for a while.

I can't wait until August 22-25th, my friends and I are taking a road trip to Toronto...going to be sweet.

It's like a sitcom: 3 cars, 12 people...6 guys, 6 girls...[the time of their lives]...I've liked one of the girls since second grade, too. I've always had a crush on her :eek: :upset:

We'll see how that works out. I went to Toronto once for my dad's dental convention. Very nice city. It's 4 times the size of Boston :confused:

Physically and emotionally...they don't so much beat me, as shove me, or smack me on the back of the head and tell me to shut up.

It's not the physical scars, but the emotional damage is irreparable. I've always felt worthless and less important than anyone else...a big blow to my confidence...

But when I get into Harvard, major in chemistry, and (hopefully), go to the police academy, and become a bomb squad investigator, a chemist for the CIA, and a forensics engineer (like on the TV show CSI, but I've wanted to do that since before I saw the show :lol: ), it'll show them...

Sorry Kandyman, I was downloading something and talking to the girl that ruined dating for me. :p

Okay. I told Dragoon the story and he started out going "dude don't let girls get in your way." After I told him it he laughed :p

So here's how it went:

I was sitting here downloading stuff and just looking through MX and playing bass...and I get this IM from a girl I talked to like two years ago, who had gotten a hold of my screenname. It went something like this:
Girl: "Ted help, I think I'm pregnant!"
Me: "Wtf? What happened?"

Before I go on, I'd like to say that this girl is the SAME age as me (13) and I'd heard that people thought of her as a nerd and stuff. Also, the grammar and such for her are a frickin' LOT different, but it's hard on the eyes and brain to read how she types :p

Girl: "Well like, I was making out with this guy and stuff happened."
Me: "You had sex with him?"
Girl: "No..."
Me: "Then why are you worried?"
Girl: "Well like, I was making out with him, and he was on top of me."
Me: "So...?"
Girl: "I'm really worried! What if like, my mom finds out??? I'll be grounded for life! My mom didn't know I did it with him, and she would be really confused because like, he used to be really mean to me!"
Me: "So wait...you had sex with him?"
Girl: "No! Our clothes didn't come off. God Ted you're not helping at all."
Me: "Wait...your clothes didn't come off, so why are you worried?"
Girl: "Because like, we were making out and we were like humpinh and stuff."
Me: "So you DID do him?"
Girl: "NO I DIDN'T. But like, he had a boner...I think?"
Me: "SO WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WORRIED? Didn't you take biology? I thought you hung out on the internet a lot?"
Girl: "Well yeah, but like, the book said something about "dripping through."
Me: "Dripping through?"
Girl: "Yeah! I'm so worried..."
Me: "...It's not physically possible."
Girl: "What's physically possible?"
Me: "...It means it's not possible."
Girl: "What? Give me your reasons."

I then proceeded to tell her about the "birds and the bees." I know all girls aren't like this, but when she said "I'm bored, I wish I had someone to make out with. One time we can "get together and get it on, if u no what i mean." it really ruined it for me. Two reasons:
1) I have seen girls other than her like this where I live.
2) Girls I don't find me attractive; usually I'm "just a friend." For THIS particular to take in interest in me REALLY ruins it for me.

I don't want to date for a few years now. How's until I die sound? :p

My dad has clinical depression and sometimes I think I do too, but mostly the angry part. Anger seems to run in the males of my family. The worst part is that we all feed off each other, as soon as one of us gets pissed off it annoys the rest of us. :upset:

Let's see, what's happening this week. I feel like sharing. Umm... I have to contact a paralegal service about my $400 in tickets. I have to ask my education payment plan for an extension since i don't yet have enough courses to be a full-time student. In relation to that I still have to register for more courses. On monday I start a minimum 53 hour work week. My mother is currently pissed off at me because she thinks I drink too much. I'm currently annoyed because I'm out of beers.

LightRaven I feel really ****ty about your dad. My grandpa just had a biopsy for cancer and is having complications. Nobody even told me he was having a biopsy. I want to quit my job to spend some time with him and my grandma but I have to make more money because my parents want me to lend it to the to pay off some mortgage. And I want a new bass. And right now I'm just.... feeling weird.

Dude, my dad would love you to death. He's a Chemistry professor at a college and is so zealous about Science it's not funny. :p

He wanted me to go Chemistry or Biology until I told him I wanted to be an engineer of some sort, at which point he mentioned Biomedical Engineers. I'm sold. :p

Yeah, not to sound corny, but this forum site is where I go to relax and forget about my crappy home life...

I was writing an AP European History paper on the Saint Bartholomew's Day Massacre and the poor treatment of Huguenots last year (10th grade), and I'd been writing it for about 3 days, and I was planning to pass it in a day early (it had to be 10 pages, but mine was like 12 or something), and my dad didn't tell me he was fixing the power circuts, so the computer lost power and I lost about 6 pages...

I told him and he said "suck it up, type it again. You can do it from memory."

Sigh...I guess stuff like that happens to everyone. Am I right? Just shrug and move on :D

I've been trying as hard as I can to overcome writers block for this one piece I'm writing, and I think just in the past 5 minutes it started to work, finally. Sorry for the presumption but I'm pretty sure my dad is up there at least. He's a doctor so I never see him (always at work, always so pissed off when he comes home). Actually, that's not true. I see him just enough that whatever I'm doing isn't enough for him. I've perennially dissapointed my father. I got a 97% final mark in OAC (Grade 13 in ontario) Finite Mathematics and all he had to say was "Where's the other three percent?". He was serious. He used to hit me, but now I'm bigger than he is. He once told me and my brother that if he and my mom got divorced it was our fault. The fact that I work 48+ hours every week doesn't matter to him, he expects me to do more than that at home. He gets pissed off every time I go out with friends to party. When I was seriously depressed in high school (my doctor was worried about me committing suicide) he told me to suck it up despite the fact that he uses his depression as an excuse every time he gets mad.

And the worst part is that it still hurts like nothing else when I dissappoint him.
