Ya I'm not taking away from it, it is an incredible song but there are better songs on the record IMO of course. It is also an opinion when you say Welcome Home owns all haha.
Can you send me some audio? Please?
Me, too please. SwingLife Away35

hey, you're not cory! 09-22-2005 08:23 PM

"Ten Speed (Of Gods Blood and Burial)" "The Suffering", and "Apollo I: The Writing Writer" are my favorites.

I saw the video for "The Suffering" today, it seems a bit early for a new video, but the video itself was kinda cool.

Society Sellout 09-22-2005 11:06 PM

Welcome home does own all.

What the...
Mic and Claudio are on Loveline? Like... now

The Crowing 09-23-2005 04:29 AM
Ya but Apollo I is like the same song as Willing Well 3 and Willing Well 3 even has more to it then Apollo I.
Apollo I just feels more complete. Honestly, I dont see the big stink about Willing Well III, its good, but the other Willing Well's are better.

i haven't seen the video yet... if there are anyone who has it that can upload it or can give it to me on aim that would be great... PrzeFightrInfrno is my AIM address

cobert 09-23-2005 08:26 AM

I got the cd.

(OMG still in library lawl)

If it had another corny subtitle, it would be "The best and worst of coheed and cambria". I have to say it has some of their best songs (Apollo I/II, welcome home, that one erica court song that i cant bother to type out all the way), but it also has some of their worst (wake up.....bleh). and, i will say, i got a shiver down my spine when i hear 'the ring in return' done with violins.

Sep 09-23-2005 08:46 AM

Wake Up is incredible. If you think that's one of the worst songs Coheed have done I am psyched, because I was expecting that to be one of the best ones.

cobert 09-23-2005 08:53 AM

Its just so....meh. It sounds like top 40 country to me.

And did you catch the throwback to blood red summer in apollo II? That was touching. It reminded me of 2113 with time consumer and I, Robot.

You just on at school...if so when is your computer going to be fixed?

EDIT: I jumped over you in posts in here haha.

Angry Balled Fists! 09-23-2005 09:45 AM

Welcome Home is incredible.

Society Sellout 09-23-2005 10:14 AM

I'm not amazed by Wake Up either... it's good but seems a little passionless, and what is with these country licks that travis plays in mulitple songs over the main line, it doesn't work for me. The line "I'd do anything for you, Kill anyone for you" kills the song for me, I really don't like it... I know it might fit with the story but I just don't really see it and so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It seems like Claudio's sadistic lyrics seeping through in and acoustic song :/.

Anyways, my favorites on this album so far are the Intro track which is very cool, Welcome Home, Ten Speed and Apollo I.

Wake Up... country?

Not really man.
Wake Up... country?

I would'nt call it country. I'd call it very awesome blues-ish guitar.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-23-2005 05:04 PM

I would call it a ballad.

That part is awesome. I love it! Anyways......I really like the art on the booklet and stuff. The art in the booklet reminds me of the art for Hopesfall's A-Types.

DepthsOfDreams555 09-23-2005 05:30 PM

Ya I really like the art too. Its tight.

CombatWombat3 09-23-2005 08:44 PM

Ten Speed and From fear through the eyes of madness are SWEET.

In The Sufffering, they borrowed the "hey"s from blood red summer.

I listened to it and I liked it! Apollo I and II are good songs :)

What are you talking about? I have their other two albums already; you don't need to tell me that they're good.

PS: You have 666 posts, so don't reply to this one without deleting another one. Keep your arbitrary post count goal alive!

Don't get so mad haha.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-23-2005 11:59 PM

I got my friend to buy the CD. He likes it a lot. He use to make fun of me for liking them but he has seen that they're good.

Most of my friends still think they're stupid. :-/

But one of my friends is a Coheed-aholic. I told him to join MX, but I don't know if he has yet.
