I don't think you're strict, because you're not. I think what you did is ironic because nobody ever uses this thread, and when I do I get banned along with the person because they "baited me". You even said you wouldn't have seen him continuing his spam, so in essence I wouldn't have been banned either.

It's just head-scratching that you would ban the messenger and make me even more hesitant to use this thread for it's intended purpose in the future.

This thread served it's purpose: You reported him so I banned him. You weren't banned for reporting, you were banned for being dumb enough to reply to one of the posts you reported. Had you reported and ignored him (there is an ignore list, by the way), you'd still be on your main-alt.

Those who were banned were banned because they were bitching incessantly, arguing like children or rambling about nothing in particular.
