Fostex VF16 Multitrack Recorder

This 16 track recorder has seen very little use, as i bought it for my 2nd year final college project.

This multitrack recorder is capable of very professional recordings. You can easily transfer your recordings onto your PC or Mac with the included external Hard Drive.

Features include:
XLR Inputs with Phantom power
8 tracks simultaneous recording
FX's (Including various Reverbs, Delays and Chorus')
80gb Internal Hard Drive - You wont need to worry about space!
9gb External Hard Drive to export your individual tracks for further editing/mixing.

Im only asking £155 (Inc Postage & Packaging), or £175 with an SM57.

Marshall Lead 12 Mini Stack

This 12 watt full stack is the perfect setup for those who want a small amp, with the very real feel of a full stack. Comes with all the leads and power cables to get you started.

This Rare model should NOT be confused with the cheap and nasty MG series. This amp packs a surprisingly big punch for its size. It can also be quite easily heard over a set of drums.

Im letting this go for £60, which is a complete bargain, as this will probably be a collectors item in a few years.

Jim Dunlop Crybaby (GCB-95) ON HOLD

Literally never used it, as i couldn't fit it into my style of music. I would like to keep it, but i just cant see myself using it. Comes with the Box, Instructions and battery.

Judging by eBay, Im asking £38 Including Postage and Packaging.

Marshall Jackhammer ON HOLD

Again, this was literally never used, as i use my homemade distortion pedal exclusively. Despite being a "Heavy Metal" Distortion pedal, i found i could get an extremely juicy Over Drive out of it. Think Hendrix, John Mayer and the like. Like everything I'm selling, its in perfect condition including the Box and Instructions.

Im asking £20 Including Postage and Packaging.

Zildjian Planet 18" crash/ride

Bought it about a month ago, as i thought my kit was lacking something, but i just think it overcomplicated my setup a bit, as i like my kits very simple.

Has a great sound to it, especially for the price. Perfect for someone who wants a thin Crash/Ride cymbal.

If you want pics, email/rep me. I've already used the allowed amount of photos.

Im only asking £10 for it - which i think is a very nice deal.

Any more questions or pictures, just email me at 9pm@live.co.uk, or alternatively just post in here. Preferably Cheques, but if i can put my arse in gear, i will setup my paypal to accept money. UK only please, as it just gets complicated otherwise.

I've done loads of sales on UG, and I'm on the good trader list under "Rum Monkey". I have also got 100% feedback on eBay.

And sorry for the big pics!

Cheers, Joe.

How much would you want for the SM57 on its own? I'm also kinda interested in the cymbal, so would you do a price for the cymbal and the 57 together?

Hey mate,

Unfortunately i cant sell it seperatly now, purely on the fact that if the VF16 doesn't sell, i still have a microphone to use with it. However, if someone buys the VF16, but not the SM57, your welcome to have it.

Would you still want the cymbal though? Or are you only interested in both of them together?

Cheers, Joe
excellent, I'll send you an email as soon as I get paid, my squier tele needs decent pups, how old are these exactly? and how would you describe the sound?
What happened was back in like April I bought some Area T pickups to try out. I didn't like them and as per DiMarzio's exchange policy, I traded them out for a set of Twang Kings. I haven't tried the Twang Kings because now I'm afraid to play my tele with anything but stock pickups and I play my melody maker pretty exclusively now.

So I really have no idea how they sound. I've always intended to sell them so I left them all wrapped up and everything. But if I had to guess, I'd say slightly higher output than stock mexican fender pickups, with a more defined twang for a vintagey tone. They're true single coils at least, something I consider a plus.

Yeah, anyway, they're not going anywhere so drop me a line whenever.

ok, perfect, maybe next week if I don't expend all my cash going to see muse

Hey Guys,

Reluctantly up for sale today is my beautiful G3 800mhz iBook. This small, but surprisingly fast laptop is just the tool for those who want a cheap laptop for Graphic Design or Music production. I have used it for both, and will include a stack of graphic design and music software and hardware to get you started. (I will also include backup discs). Contact me for the list of software, as its way too long to post in here.

Specifications:
G3 800mhz processor (equivalent to roughly 2hgz Intel)
Upgraded 640mb of ram
Airport Card for wireless connectivity (cost £70 on eBay)
Combo drive (CD/RW + DVD)
40gb Hard Drive
Running 10.3.9 (Would run Tiger/Leopard with no problems whatsoever)

Accessories
Hercules USB interface for recording (doubles up as a stylish volume control!)
Sennheiser HD437 headphones
Two chargers - which is really helpful
All the install discs

Here are some pictures (I hope you have a spare pair of pants...)

Taking into account all of the Accessories and Software that I have included (worth £600+ alone), I’m asking a very reasonable £240 + postage. Slower models regularly go for £200 on eBay without any hardware/software, so this is an awesome deal.

Fostex VF16 Multitrack Recorder

Also for sale is this Fostex 16 track recorder. It has seen very little use, as i bought it for my 2nd year final college project.

I’m only asking £150 (+ Postage & Packaging), or £185 with an SM57.

Any questions, just email me at 9pm@live.co.uk. Payment by Paypal or Cheques is preferred. UK/EU only please, as it just gets complicated otherwise.

I've done countless sales on UG (www.ultimate-guitar.com, under the user name Rum Monkey), including Amps, Guitars and Fx pedals, and I’m on the good trader list. I have also got 100% feedback on eBay. I pack the items I post in about a tonne of bubble wrap (and then some!), so I can guarantee that your item will arrive on time, and in perfect condition.

Cheers, Joe.

P.S sorry for the big pics!

Ibanez S2020xav

Ok, this is to purely to gauge interest. :)

Its an Ibanez S2020xav as the title says.
It has a stock pickup in the neck which is a nice pickup tbh, thats why I have left it in lol. It has the new Dimarzio D-Activator X in the bridge which gives plenty of chunk balanced with a djenty treble.

Also as many of you probably know, this model has an inbuilt piezo system w/ dual outputs to run 2 or more amps or amp/PA setup. This doesnt mean its one output for each type of pickup, so don't worry about that.

The guitar comes with the original Ibanez hard case.
It has a few chips on it, nothing major though.
Has had a professional setup with 12 - 56 in C# standard.

Im not too sure about price, but around £600 is what id be looking at since this isnt a common guitar and I believe it is sought after like the RG7 counterparts.

Edit: Revised, as I put these on ebay:

Modern Recording Techniques, Sixth Edition: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220263864958&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=012 £17.50

Behringer TU100 Chromatic Tuner Pedal: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220263866907&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=012 £10.

Dr Hooch 07-31-2008 03:02 PM

how's the tuner re: not true bypass?

americanfootball 07-31-2008 03:37 PM

It's worth £10. ;)

It's all right. I never noticed any signal loss from any of the other pedals in the chain. Works as well as the Boss equivalent in my experience.

Dr Hooch 07-31-2008 04:16 PM

i can stick in an a/b if needsbe.
