I've pretty much gotten past all of my double thumbing problems. Even with the tight string spacing I don't have much troubles adding popping on the same string as the double thumbing. I guess I've just practiced it a lot.

Can you double thumb/double pop on the same string? I have trouble getting that second pop off.

Ahh. Yeah. I can do a sloppy double-thumb and then a pop, but two pops is out of the question.

Nonetheless, I really put a lot of effort into developing and cleaning up my slap technique this summer and I've really noticed it paying off.

Maybe I just need to take the same approach to double thumbing.
