Hopesfall - The Sattelite Years

I'm listening to it now and it's reminded me how awesome this album really is.
Negatory. That album was boring.

cbmartinez 11-03-2005 06:33 PM

It's like a 9/10 for me. Really fucking good but it's lacking.

B 11-03-2005 06:35 PM

I'm an easy rater :p.

It probably is about a 9 or maybe 9.5. If I wanted to be difficult I would only rate one or two albums a 10.

Mute Print 11-03-2005 06:36 PM

9 sounds pretty good for that album. It really is awesome, but it could be better.

B 11-03-2005 06:37 PM

I love Andromeda.

BridgeToSolace 11-03-2005 06:37 PM

Finch - What It Is To Burn.

I judge how good an album is by lasting power. I've listened to that album for at least a year straight after it came out. To this day I can still listen to that album and rock out.

Permanent Solution 11-03-2005 06:39 PM

Looks like I'm the only one to dislike it, eh. Oh well.

cbmartinez 11-03-2005 06:41 PM

"The Bending," "Decoys Like Curves" and "Only The Clouds" are definitely two of the most beautiful songs ever written.

BridgeToSolace 11-03-2005 06:41 PM
Looks like I'm the only one to dislike it, eh. Oh well.
I found it to be quite bland and uninspireing.

And not very beautiful.

Woah, three songs = two of the mnost beatiful songs you've heard?!?!

:p

One of the first albums I ever bought with my own money. I still give it a listen once in a while.

I remembered "Decoys Like Curves" at the last minute.

Ah, I see. Awesome song.

Actually all the songs you mentioned are pretty amazing.

cbmartinez 11-03-2005 06:46 PM

Yeah, I have really good power tabs for almost all the songs on that album. Playing them sounds so amazing.

Mute Print 11-03-2005 06:48 PM

Nice. I can't wait until I can play awesome songs on the guitar...

Pantera&Slayer 11-07-2005 04:04 AM

green day is the lamest most untalentless band in punk i agree with the people on there picks all except green day. its kinda hard for a person in these times to put give a 10/10 to a album since now kids are spoiled mostly every single and album a 10 on the clash misfits and maybe you could say sisters of mercy but i think they lead to gothic.

And Pantera and Slayer are the most generic excuse for noise I can think of. Opinions differ. Green Day are talented. Sure, there may be more talented, but their still a damn site better than you.

B 11-08-2005 06:49 AM

I wanted to make fun of him.. I hope he isn't trying to say every Misfits and Clash album deserve a 10 either because that's just wrong. Maybe London Calling. But that's it.

Bad Blood 11-08-2005 11:24 AM

Blink 182 - The Mark, Tom and Travis show. I listened to it today for the first time in a few months and I love it. Definately worthy of a 10/10.

kyebopp 11-08-2005 12:05 PM

i really cnt say any album is 10/10. but the closest for me have to be..

yellowcard- ocean avenue

Get Up Kids - On A Wire

14/10

B 01-01-2006 07:33 PM

Really? On A Wire? Most people think Something To Write Home About is their best. I prefer Four Minute Mile myself.
