I haven't heard much of their stuff, but I keep getting recommended.

The only one I've heard is the one with the Kashmir-like riff, then breaks down into a good riff.

RATM are an amazing band. The guitar work is great.

RATM's S/T is good, the rest of their stuff is nothing to write home about.

I think its the opposite. 'Evil Empire' owns.

What's one of RATM's good songs?

I can't stand the White Boy Rage that they have, or the pretentious political grandstanding.

Evil Empire > S/T > everything else, as far as I'm concerned.

It's just that I have seen tablature legends that have ^ as a hammer or a pull, too.

My point was that ^ usually is a bend.
