Rammstein wouldn't be as good if they ripped out solos all the time like every other metal band. And they're not a nu metal band because that's just absurd. They choose to play simple stuff and try not to copy all the other western bands. U should watch the interviews on LAB because that's what they say aswell as other interesting facts. The guitarists have been playing in bands for over 25 years, so don't judge their playing abilities

To me it was DSOTM or The Wall. I don't like metallica or tool so it was a hard pick between the two PF albums

in that cd cover, it doesnt' have the exact translations, its what it would be if it was in english.

they changed the meaning of that song for english people so it makes sense better.

But besides their lyrics they are awesome.

Besides their taboo topics, Till is an amazing lyricist. Check out Alter Mann, Dalai Lama, Mutter. People tend to judge the lyrics based on the taboo topics.

Yeah the singer's voice fits the music pretty well.

I just love the way the drumming carries the whole band. Nothing with massive technical flair, but solid and sturdy sounding. THe band have an immense sound and style.

I love their distorted tone, it's very chunky and very train-ish sounding.

That varies from album to album. I'd sy earlier rammstein was industrial metal. Now it just seems like they're heavy metal with industrial influences.

Du Hast was the first song I heard of Rammstein, and after that I got the Mutter CD, and I'm listening to the Reise Reise CD right now. Mein Teil kicks a[B][/B]ss, and Moskou is fun too, but if you're feeling a bit sad, there's nothing better than Ohne Dich...
